Lets fact-check:
Christians recognize the Ten Commandments as the ethical core of
the Old Covenant of Israel, and they believe that these commandments
are not negated or altered in any way, but only that the consequences,
and the condemnation for lawbreakers can be wiped clean by
substitutionary sacrifice and redemption, another part of the O.T. Law code.
Thus, Christians worship the same Biblical God as the Jews.
Muslims believe in the Quran and the 'prophet' Mohammed, who
represents the new and final message from God, who now has a new name, Allah, the head of the ancient Syrian/Arabian Pantheon.
This new and final message denies the representation of God as Father,
and announces that God has no Son. This new and final message
proposes that Jesus was not crucified but escaped by deception.
That there is no meaning to a redemptive death for Jesus,
and that it has no point, since the God Allah forgives by fiat.
The Muslim Allah demands not that all peoples become Christians,
through preaching and hearing the word of God as revealed in
the Holy Bible, but rather that all people be converted to Islam
via threat of force, war, and death, ignoring the gospel message.
The Christian gospel is negated and contradicted, and the example
of Jesus is ignored and rejected.
Thus Muslims do not worship the N.T. God as the Christians do.
Muslims also believe that the Quran's and Mohammed's examples
are binding and supercede the Commandments of the O.T.
Muslims are to have a weekly Holy Day, not on Saturday as the
the Jews do as a permanent sign, nor as the Christians on Sunday to celebrate the resurrection and conquering of death, but on Friday,
a date of no significance except to distinguish them from both Jews
and Christians.
Muslims believe that at the end of the Age that all Jews should be
hunted down and killed for rejecting Islam, rather than rescued by God
for retaining their own Covenant as people of the book.
The Ten Commandments and Law of Moses teach the sabbath as a
perpetual statute for Israelites. The Ten Commandments and Law of
Moses forbid murder and robbery, adultery and rape, as perpetual
moral standards and ethical commitments. The New Testament
affirms the goodness of these commandments and requirement to
behave lawfully and peacefully as citizens everywhere.
But the Muslims believe that the Jihad, or Holy War against all non-Muslims,
gives permission for Muslims to murder men, force their wives
into concubinage, remarriage, or simply sexual service as slaves,
and confiscate all their property of their enemies.
The Biblical God forbad the collection of war-booty, because it was
a corrupting force and a wicked motive creating injustice.
More than half of the Ten Commandments are violated in the
Muslim practice of "Holy War" to murder and enslave non-Muslims,
and steal their property.
Jews are nowhere commanded to 'conquer the world and proselytize it
by force', and Christians are openly forbidden to engage in such behaviour.
The Muslim God Allah, then, blatantly contradicts the image of God the Father,
and the ethical attributes of the Just and Moral God of the Bible.
Islam openly blasphemes the true Biblical God by assigning him
a new and alien character completely opposite to that previously revealed
as an eternal nature.
Therefore, although Islam makes a surface claim that it upholds
the one law of "Idolatry" by the forbidding of making images,
its final revelation is that God has overruled and negated the
Ten Commandments.
This is worse than simply worshipping another god, or a god foreign
to the Bible. It is open blasphemy against the true Biblical God the Father.
It claims to forbid 'idolatry' but sets up a false 'god' in place of the real God.
At the same time, the idolatry of the ancient Arabs at Mecca
is shamelessly perpetuated in the pilgrimage and worship of a rock
as a 'holy idol'.
So its fair to say that:
NO. Islam does not honour or represent the True Biblical God the Father
of the Holy Scriptures. Its a very real abomination and distortion of
the true God of the Bible, because it mischaracterizes Him so badly
and in such a contradictory way to His actual nature.
Islam is a satanic military cult which is utterly evil and blasphemous.
