Christ's faith is enough. But faith is a substance (hypostasis). Hypo- is "under", and -stasis is "to stand". The hypostasis is that which underlies hope.
Hope saves us. But it's not faith. Since you don't know the difference, you're stuck in methodology (doing) instead of ontology (being).

Yes, it is. Gal 2:20 is referring to those who are in the prosopon of Christ by the substance of faith, not hope.
Paul's greeting in way says faith is in hope. "In hope of eternal life" is not syntactically attached to the previous faith statement.
"According to faith" and "hoping in eternal life" don't mean faith is in hope. They're separate phrases of a greeting.

God covenanted with Adam and commanded Adam, that if Adam believed and lived according to His good provisions and belief in His words (loved God's works of providence), Adam would/could live forever, but if Adam did not obey (failed to love God's providence of eternal life), Adam would die.
Adam did not evidence love towards God, nor any love for, nor faith in His words/commands (Laws), and Adam died (spiritually on the spot and physically later) as God warned in Genesis 2:15-17
