You do not see God giving Adam any commands?
You are so childish and predictable..... You try to be "smart" with your "redirection" attempts. :loser:

I'd like to see you support this proclamation of yours with SCRIPTURE. Not too much to ask.

PPS says Christ's faith was not enough.

Christ's faith is enough. But faith is a substance (hypostasis). Hypo- is "under", and -stasis is "to stand". The hypostasis is that which underlies hope.

Hope saves us. But it's not faith. Since you don't know the difference, you're stuck in methodology (doing) instead of ontology (being).

There is no automatic escape from sinfulness. As God's creatures we must eliminate (crucify, kill) sin in our members, by repenting, and confessing all sin.

In this, we evidence a true love of God and His righteousness that now exists in our (new) hearts.

We believe in an event that took place in our place (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV). How about you?

I do. You evidently just think it's a status label that says "righteous".

But you're saved by hope. Good thing, because you've mistaken it for faith, which is a substance.

According to you it's not.

Yes, it is. Gal 2:20 is referring to those who are in the prosopon of Christ by the substance of faith, not hope.

His faith was in hope Titus 1:2 KJV

Paul's greeting in way says faith is in hope. "In hope of eternal life" is not syntactically attached to the previous faith statement.

"According to faith" and "hoping in eternal life" don't mean faith is in hope. They're separate phrases of a greeting.

You don't know what faith is.

You said that the FIRST commandment that was given to Adam by God was to love God. Show it from scripture.

http://www.theologyonline.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4168548&postcount=706

God covenanted with Adam and commanded Adam, that if Adam believed and lived according to His good provisions and belief in His words (loved God's works of providence), Adam would/could live forever, but if Adam did not obey (failed to love God's providence of eternal life), Adam would die.

Adam did not evidence love towards God, nor any love for, nor faith in His words/commands (Laws), and Adam died (spiritually on the spot and physically later) as God warned in Genesis 2:15-17

Eternal life was promised by God (the Father) before the world began. We weren't there. So Who was it promised to?

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

I believe that Christ was delivered for our offences and was raised again for our justification because He had faith in the Father, hope of eternal life which God promised before the world began!
