GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy Torches Biden Over Admin’s New ‘Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board’​


House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) responded to Democrat President Joe Biden’s new Disinformation Governance Board in an exclusive statement to The Daily Wire on Thursday, saying that the move was “Orwellian.”

The newly-created Disinformation Governance Board, which was announced on Wednesday, is being formed under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and will focused on alleged disinformation coming out of Russia and other places.

“Leave it to Democrats to think free speech is the problem and more government is the solution,” McCarthy said in an exclusive statement to The Daily Wire. “The notion that the same party that spent four years promoting the Russia collusion hoax, suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story, and equated parents to domestic terrorists believes it has the credibility to tell Americans what is true is laughable.”

“And it is telling that the person who would run Biden’s Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board is a political activist who has a long history of falling for and spreading disinformation,” McCarthy continued. “It is easy to imagine this person abusing the term ‘disinformation’ to suppress facts and spin away inconvenient truths about the administration’s many failures, including their failures to secure the border. The idea that the federal government should control speech sounds uncomfortably close to the Thought Police. Biden must immediately abandon his plan to create a modern-day Ministry of Truth.”

Jen Psaki on Friday twice claimed that the Biden administration’s Orwellian and ominous new Disinformation Governance Board isn’t really new at all, and in fact, was started not by Old Joe or his DHS hatchet man, Alejandro Mayorkas, but by one Donald J. Trump. Psaki delivered this whopper with a clear tone of What are all you racist, redneck, MAGA-hat wearing yahoos getting all upset about? This was all your guy’s idea. She offered no evidence, and there doesn’t seem to be any for her to have offered.

Psaki said this under question from Fox’s Jacqui Heinrich, who noted that both Mayorkas and Psaki had expressed some unfamiliarity with the bizarre fascist who will be heading up the Ministry of Truth, Nina Jankowicz. Heinrich asked Psaki, “How was she hired if you and the White House are not familiar with her and Mayorkas is not familiar with her statements? What’s the process for, um, putting her into a position like this, and who’s in charge of hiring her?” Indeed — although it’s clear that Jankowicz, who bills herself on her website as “an internationally-recognized expert on disinformation,” is an enthusiastic proponent of government censorship who has been preparing for this job for her entire professional life.

The frightening thing about it is that it is so obviously something that a Communist or Fascist nation might have, and so many Democrats cannot see the blazing red flags of it. If Biden were to literally set up death camps with ovens, as long as they were for conservatives, democrats would not blink an eye.

At what point do we come out of denial and admit that we are in a real, true war, and the Democrats are really America's enemy?

Jankowicz ultimately gave up her musical ambitions to pursue a career in tracking online disinformation and talking about its danger to democracy and national security.

The Department of Homeland Security announced Wednesday she would lead Biden’s “Disinformation Governance Board.”

In January, Jankowicz used her musical talents on TikTok to promote the dangers of misinformation, describing herself as the “Mary Poppins of Misinformation.”

Jerkowitch's job will be to take over from Twitter the job of silencing conservative speech and promoting leftist narratives instead of facts and truth.

All the leftist news organizations worked together in 2020 to dishonestly portray Trump as evil and to cover up Biden's flaws and sins. The leftists then claimed that truth about Biden's crimes were false Russian propaganda, which was a lie. Biden got elected on the basis of lies, not the truth, and now he wants the US government to censor truth going forward so democrats can continue their dishonest hold on power. Giving democrats the power to control what is reported is very bad and will lead to the further erosion of freedom and righteousness in Amerrica.
