[Priebus: We Won't Apologize For Keeping America Safe by Tim Hains] "President Trump's WH chief of staff Reince Priebus joins NBC's Chuck Todd on 'Meet The Press' to defend Trump's executive order restricting people coming into the U.S. from seven middle eastern countries.

"The fact of the matter is that 325,000 people from foreign countries came into the United States yesterday, and 109 people were detained for further questioning. Most of those people were moved out. We’ve got a couple dozen more that remain," Priebus told Todd. "I would suspect that as long as they are not awful people, they will be moved through today... If they’re folks that shouldn’t be in this country, they’re going to be detained. So we apologize for nothing here." Priebus: We Won't Apologize For Keeping America Safe Deut. 32:8 more

I don't much like President Trump, or many of his ideals and policies.
But if the US Presaident believes that terrorism is going to rise in his country, and that terrorists are likely to come from particular countries, then he has every right and a duty to do what he can to reduce risks within his country. Terrorism is like guerilla war, carried out within.

Now Churchill would have agreed, because Churchill went much further than President Trump, policies that most of you know nothing about.

My friends entire family were forced to leave their own seaside home during WW11 because they were Armenians, and all foreign nationals were forced from their seasiode homes around the entire UK coastline for fear thatr they might 'signal enemies out to sea'.

Further to that, many German, Austrian, Danish, Polish and Czech persons were taken into custody and kept in war-camps until well after the war.

Was that reasonable? We'll never know, because we don't know how many lives Churchill's policies saved.
Is President Trump's policy reasonable?
Somewhere between possibly and probably, methinks..

Make America Safe Again

Since 9/11, Non-Muslims have carried out more than 90% of all terrorist attacks in America.

The average American is 58X more likely to be killed by one of their own police officers than to be a victim of terrorism!

When the history of the Trump Presidency is finally written, successive generations in the future will wonder as to how the American public could have been so gullible as to take the threat of Islamic terrorism in the homeland totally out of context.

That last paragraph - not really - as evidenced even by the few Trump drones on this forum; a great many extremists had long lost any ability at unbigoted objectivity long before their Trumpty Dumpty came along to have his big fall.
