I believe my HS said that.

I said
That is not a verse. So that had to come from one of the other spirits. The Holy Spirit is only allowed to quote verses. He is not allowed to speak on His own authority.

John 14:26
26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

John 16:13-14
13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
14 "He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

You see? You don't seem to know how to follow Jesus' simple principle.

It is legalistic.

I know it is of HS because it harmonizes with Jesus' word.

I said
I don't doubt that you think you know it. That is the way deception works. You "KNOW it is, and I showed you it cant be.

[1Co 8:1-2
1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.
2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

No squeaky, the Holy Spirit speaks direct to our hearts, that's how those who wrote the Bible did so, because they were inspired of God, by the Spirit guiding and bringing them the word of God direct to their hearts, the stronger we become, the more God gives us. But whatever we hear must coincide with the Bible, we can't add or take away. Meshak is right, God looks at the heart, and those born of God will receive his word directly, he gives us what we need to speak when we need it.

Luke 12

And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

God gives us a mouth to speak, not just verses, he gives us the word with power to overcome anything that's not the truth, I don't even think of what I am going to say, I just type what comes to me at that time and any verses that come to me too. So the Spirit gives us both, the living word and the verses from the Bible that we need to back it up.

There are many languages in the world. Doctors have one, lawyers have one, intellectuals have one, common people have one. Seeing that the only guaranteed message in the bible comes from the Holy Spirit. So to guard that guarantee He even uses a special language. And the Holy Spirit only quotes verses, He explains verses with other verses. There are spirits in us trying to deceive us and they all speak the same language carnal. So we can discern the Holy Spirit He quotes verses. Now this is the meat understanding of the Word. The milk understanding is done with the carnal language, the meat understanding is done with only verses. Its an unknown tongue to the carnal mind.

So where did those verses come from that were written by those who wrote the Bible?

I said
So your not going to believe them, but your going to question them. That is the difference between you and me. I'm a believer.
Squeaky i do believe them, and I also know that the Spirit is living and still speaks directly to the hearts of those who belong to God, that didn't stop 2000 years ago. But what he says will always coincide with the Bible. If it doesn't, then it's not the truth.

I know that when I open my mouth at times, God gives me what I need to speak, and I know that it's not just what I've learned myself from just reading, as it all comes to me what to say there and then, and I've actually had people tell me that what I said was for them, and I know that God gave it to me at that time to speak, and it's happened to me, where people have said things that they don't know I need at the time, and I know that it's God talking to me, either rebuking me, backing me up, our just putting me on the right path. So I know that the Spirit gives us what we are to say when we need it.

True witnesses of God don't only quote verses, but speak with power, and they are able to overcome anything that's not the truth, because God is with them. But, as I said everything they say must coincide with the word of God that is written in the Bible, it can't contradict it at all. If it doesn't agree, or they can't explain what they mean and show why it's the truth, then it's not the truth, the Spirit doesn't go against itself.

You don't only quote verses squeaky, you speak too. We are not robots, those in the Bible spoke with power and strength and that's what God gives us, the word with power, and the more we deny our flesh, the stronger we become, and the more we receive. Those in the Bible were powerhouses in God. We will be as strong as God makes us but we must obey him, we are to keep our faith, live by his will and speak what he gives us to speak, and we should be able to back it up with scripture.

Here is something to think about. If there were no conditions with being a Christian, there would be no need for a judgment day.
