You have it backwards.
"So the faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" Romans 10:17.
On the day of Pentecost, they heard the Gospel, they believed the Gospel, they received the Holy Spirit and they were saved. Acts 2:41.
You are in denial of the Gospel and the power of the Gospel to save.

A person cannot hear the Gospel unto Salvation if he is not Born of God.
John 8:43, 47
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

You can not be born of God until you hear the Gospel.
Jesus was speaking to the lost, unbelieving, Pharisees in John 8:43-47. You are trying to take this incident and make a doctrine out of it.
People do hear the Gospel. Not everybody is a lost unbelieving Pharisee. I heard the Gospel and I believed. Before I heard the Gospel I was a lost sinner. After I heard the Gospel the Holy Spirit convicted me of my need for Christ and I accepted him as my savior.
That was over 45 years ago. I have not been the same sense. If you do not have a testimony as to when you became a Christian you are probably not one.

neither can a spiritually dead man Hear God's Words,
which are Spiritual, unless first he is made Spiritually Alive
by the Power of the Holy Spirit: Born Again / Born of God!

God gives the "hearing ear" Prov. 20:12
to those who were Chosen to Salvation Eph. 1:3-4
and belief of the Truth 2 Thes. 2:13!

Those Christ died for shall believe by the Power of the Holy Spirit working in them,
which they receive in New Birth. Faith / Belief is a fruit of the Spirit Gal. 5:22!

The New Birth is first and foremost before they can do anything that pleases God Rom. 8:7-8!

Let's go to Basic English 101.
Romans 10:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
1st clause. How do they call on Him in whom they have not believed. They can't.
2nd clause How do they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? They can't
3rd clause. How do they hear without a preacher?
They don't.
Conclusion. They must hear before they can believe
Pretty simple isn't it.

Scripture declares that those in the flesh cannot please God Rom. 8:7-8. Period!
Only once a person is Born of the Spirit / Born Again is he able to please God by his hearing and believing!

and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
