You didn't quote Jesus.
Try just quoting Jesus.
I did quote Jesus, Einstein. Scripture is Jesus, all scripture. "But, but, but... that can't be true, unless I believe it!"
John 1:1,14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God [aka the Word, the Lord Jesus], and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Romans 1:20-28 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.
"But, but, but... I don't understand!"
By the way, Old Testament scripture, involving immutable moral precepts of God that would apply to all mankind? That also came from Jesus.
"But, but, but... Now I really, really, really don't understand! Bernie! Help! Save me!" (Or would that be Pete Buttgig to the rescue?)
Did Paul marry?
can you answer?
Question:- Did Paul Marry?
People are allowed their opinions,
it only becomes a problem if or when people try to force their opinions upon others.
The people are for Justice and Liberty, and democracy is not going far away from the West.
I already posted that I write about Gays because this thread is about Gays.
Where I live active support for Christianity is falling away.
I read that this is happening in America as well.
And the very few who still attend church are very old.
I attend a 'tea and chat' venue about once a week and the average age is well over 65years. This was made evident in striking detail last Friday. I had found/purchased a display case of George VI farthings (1937-1952) in a charity shop and so took it to the venue to hand out. I visited each table, explained my mission and asked if I could give farthings to folks for their birth years. It was fun. The youngest person (of about 50 persons) in the hall was born in 1953 ...... I know, because I asked.
But you have to convince the people about that. A Majority of the people.
The people are not listening in enough numbers.
And the only way that Bob's World could be put in place would be by some kind of takeover, is my opinion.
'The Handmaid's Tale'
a religious country lead by a Theocracy or Theonomy.
And so for now and the foreseeable future democracy rules.
Homosexuality is, was, and should always be, a crime.
Anyone who advocates for that crime is guilty as an accomplice to that crime.
Your language is in error. Homosexuality is a condition.
Homosexual sex or homosexual acts are acts.
Kleptomania is a condition.
Stealing is an act.
If someone steals as a result of their kleptomania
will a judge jail them?
The seven deadly sins are Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride.
Should we jail fat people? How about lazy people?
When YOU become the punisher for sins
you make yourself God. One God is plenty.
Maybe you should just worry about jailing people for earthly crimes and let God punish sinners as he sees fit.

Maybe Paul was asexual?Counter-question: Did Paul HAVE to marry?
I'm not in rebellion against God.Of course they are, except when they violate moral standards.
Advocation (in any way) of committing a crime makes you an accomplice TO that crime.
You are welcome to your beliefs about certain sins, but don't bring others down with you in your rebellion against God.
Like homosexuals have done for the past few decades?
Homosexuality is, was, and should always be, a crime.
Anyone who advocates for that crime is guilty as an accomplice to that crime.
I don't have to appeal to popularity in a Democracy. I live in a Democracy. There's that appeal to popularity again.
God said homosexuality is an abomination.
God said that homosexuals should be put to death for their behavior.
Let God be true and every man a liar.
Wrong. It is the group under discussion here.Which, at least for the current thread, makes homos your "preferred minority group."
Could you suggest a time when Britain was a Christian Nation? Got a date in mind? That's because Britain (that's where you live, iirc) is a POST-Christian nation. She has all but rejected the God of the Bible.
Your Constitution does not say that it is a Christian Constitution, does it?That's because we are becoming a post-Christian nation.
...which often leads to upheaval, then reformation, then some balance once more, for a time.Because of democracy.
Jesus said the majority are wicked (as a general rule of thumb). So a government based on majority rule is guaranteed to become more and more wicked as time progresses.
OK.............so you get bored.:yawn::blabla:
Democracy. If you don't like there's nothing much I can advise about that. You seem hung up on how popular ideas are, rather than whether they're true or not on their own.
Appeal to popularity.
Most countries in the West have free speech, subject to incitement, harassment, blackmail etc. so it's up to you and any others to convince Democratic countries to reverse their legislation and Equality Acts.[From what I've gathered on it, it has very little to do with the Bible and the principles taught therein.
Homosexuality is wrong, and homos should be executed.
There is no credible medical evidence that sexual orientation is a conscious choice - therefore those claims that individuals have made conscious decisions to change their sexual orientations is nothing more than wishful thinking!
Apparently "ok doser" thinks that an article in "The Sun," detailing Hugh Hefner's sexual preferences constitutes credible medical evidence!

Given the stated bias of this forum and that if I responded to this post you'd report me, I've been down this road before and under no illusions as to the final outcome!apparently you're an idiot
Ha ha! You really are hard up for a case to bring!
What a joke.
My first wife died 30 years ago.. My second wife is a real darling.
Your extremism blinds you somewhat.
No you don't! This thread was chosen (preferred) by one who does nlot support sexual freedom. I chose to p[ost a few comments of my own.
And..... No you don't....... The people rising up to bring justice to those who incite, harass, victimise or hurt sub-groups ion any way is not about violence, it's about justice. You keep the law in the lands that you live in!.
Jehovah's Witness have visited our home for a very long time. They tell us that they also follow the bible. They don't have churches.
Question:- Are you a JW?
I have studied the gospels for many years. I just don't see the gospels as you do.
Fair enough. No Probs.I admit that mine was an assumption, as to being a hard case...meh.. not so much, however,
Science? Shear Science? That's ok..I will call homosexualism, transgenderism, and any other form of deviant sexual behavior for what it is...abnormal, that isn't out of hatred but, out of shear science alone. Your argument for abberent sexual behavior is based purely on emotion not on factual data.
Look, so long as you leave folks alone, any lawful folks, and let them enjoy their lives and loves........ I ain't got a problem with that.Oh yes I do...you are free to speak of violence towards those that oppose your preferred sub-group as justice but, in the end it is just wrong for anyone to violently oppress or attempt to harass ANYONE FOR ANY BELIEF SET. Nobody gets special privileges to bring violence to further their agenda or position...Nobody!
OK. You're not a JW. I don't know why you veered off in to Latter-Day-Saints stuff. You say below that you have studied the Gospels for many years yet you don't know the difference between Christianity & the Jehovah's Witness'? Well let me school you a bit on the subject, JW"s are not Christians nor do they even carry a Bible, what they do carry is a perverted version of the Bible which supports their man made doctrine much like the mormons have written their own extra biblical text (Book of Mormon) which was written in the 19th century when a man named Joseph Smith was supposedly visited by an angel named Moroni who gave him golden glasses to read this special text or so the story goes, in either case neither is Christian, or biblical no matter how well meaning they are. So, no...I am not a JW but, that is funny. :chuckle:
I have studied historical Jesus for a long time.......... sometimes, just sometimes, my research takes me beyond the gospels' time-frames...... but not far.Don't stop there, the Gospels bring you to the end of Christ's life but, it does not address the establishment of the Body of Christ or His church which was established, and shepherded by the apostles after Christs assention. You have only read half the story, Christ left the building of his church & the keeping of His principles of the faith through these men. The rest of the New Testament addresses life in Christ, the establishment of His Church, and the doctrine thereof.
Science? Shear Science?
