The commandments provide us with God's definition of love toward God and neighbor and we keep them by faith. They are the everlasting covenant.

The everlasting covenant existed before humans (the devil murdered and lied) and the covenant will last forever.
Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

You might add to your list. Be predestinated. Join the Catholic church.

Of course not using the Calvinistic hijacked defining of predestination which you seem to focus on, I would not add predestination to the list as predestination in the biblical sense based on God's foreknowledge concerning us is sound.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

...

Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

But yes, telling someone they need join any church to be saved is ridiculous.

I really think people have trouble trusting God and His word. People believe in Jesus yet they stumble at trusting and being grounded and settled in the gospel. They think it's too easy and more must be done or learned.

Yeah...it's fig leaves.

They've been duped by the religious, denominational system in place courtesy of Satan and his deceitful workers I mentioned in the OP as the mystery of iniquity doth already work (2 Thessalonians 2:7 KJV).

Besides that, they want to have a hand in saving themselves (boast), but they can't (Romans 3:23-24 KJV, Romans 4:4-5 KJV, Ephesians 2:7 KJV, Titus 3:5 KJV).

Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

It's called the gospel of the kingdom, the same gospel Paul preached.

It's the gospel OF Jesus Christ, not just a gospel ABOUT Jesus Christ.
Here comes jamie again to conflate terms. Words have no meaning to her! Watch her spin!

The gospel of the kingdom was never preached by Paul. He could not have even been forgiven under it (matthew 12:31-32 KJV). The gospel of Jesus Christ had it's beginning in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (Mark 1:1 KJV), but Paul's gospel was a mystery at that time and he tells us why (1 Corinthians 2:6-8 KJV).

jamie's gospel has no power to save anyone today.

The gospel of the kingdom was never preached by Paul.

And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter
the kingdom of God
.” (Acts 14:21-22)

Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house and received all who came to him preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him. (Acts 28:30-31)

Paul had the mind of Christ, why would Christ inspire Paul to teach a gospel other than Christ's gospel?

It was God's plan that ALL would be saved, because he is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9.

You are so predictable!

What you posted says "the kingdom of God" not "the gospel of the kingdom". Stop conflating.

Yes, we are saved by Jesus' grace, but for what purpose?
Let us test whether or not jamie believes salvation is by grace (Romans 11:6 KJV).

Is there anything that you had to do to be saved or have to continue to do to stay saved, jamie?

It was God's plan that ALL would be saved, because he is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9.
It's His will that all men be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth,

1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1 Timothy 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

but not all will be saved. Some will perish because they receive not the love of the truth that they can be saved.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

That does not change the fact that God foreknew who would believe as evidenced by Romans 8:28-30 KJV, Ephesians 1:1-6 KJV.

Religious men behind pulpits all over the world (2 Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV) will tell you that a number of things are salvation, such as:

Yes, but because they are preaching from the gospel of Paul. Oh yes, there were at Paul's time two different gospels. The gospel of Jesus preached by his apostles which Paul would not acknowledge and the gospel of Paul which any other different from, even if from heaven, he would consider accursed. (II Cor. 11:4-6, 13; Gal. 1:8,9)

1. "give your life to Jesus" or "give your heart to Jesus"
2. "confess your sins" in order for the Lord to forgive you your sins or something along those lines based on a hijacking of 1 John 1:9
3. "Clean up your act in order for God to receive you"
4. "Walk the isle for Jesus"
5. "Be water baptized"
6. "Keep the commandments"
7. "Endure to the end"
8. "speaking in tongues"

Of the above items, only numbers 3 and 6 are approved by commonsense. Number 3 is the same as Isaiah 1:18,19 which translates "To set things right with the Lord so that your sins from scarlet red become as white as snow by confession and return to the obedience of God's Law which is the same as number 6.

The list goes on and on yet NONE of those things are the power of God to save anyone! So what is?

I totally agree that none of those enumerated items above are the power of God to save any one. Jesus himself revealed the power to save which comes from listening to "Moses" aka the Law. If you find it impossible to believe, read Luke 16:29-31.

The gospel of the grace of God is! It is the good news of the gospel of Christ to all men no matter who you are or what you were doing while you were there; that Christ died for our sins and that He was buried and rose again the third day! Paul declares it here:

Jesus did not die for our sins because the prophets of the Most High had made it very clear that no one dies for the sins of another. (Jeremiah 31:30 and Ezekiel 18:20)

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

That's not true. The main purpose of the gospel of Paul was to deliver his listeners from "Moses" aka the Law which is exactly the opposite from what Jesus preached in his gospel. (Luke 16:29-31 (Rom. 7:6)

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

As we already know, this is according to the gospel of Paul and not to that of Jesus in which he taught to listen to "Moses" aka the Law. (Luke 16:29-31)

1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

There is nothing in the Scriptures which Jesus considered to be the Word of God that someone can return from the dead. Read II Samuel 12:23; Isaiah 26:14; Job 7:9.

Have you trusted the Lord believing it for salvation? I sure hope so!

You can bet your soul on that!

No the old commandments for Israel were called a ministry of death and condemnation. They were a shadow of the love of God in Christ. The reality trumps the shadow.

Yes, we are saved by Jesus' grace, but for what purpose? Is there a reason for our salvation? Or is it just for our benefit?

Yes we are saved by grace and we live by grace and we grow by grace and we are sustained by grace in every trial and tribulation..........it's pretty much all by grace. Never any reason to leave grace and go back to the law.

Nope. We're in the but now where the righteousness of God WITHOUT THE LAW is manifested!

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

You are nothing more than an unbeliever (you "believe not") who rejects the glorious gospel of Christ and is blinded (2 Corinthians 4:3-4 KJV).

Get out of this thread you Christ rejecting pervert!

Romans 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

...

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
.............

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
