Does Michael Savage read my posts on TOL?

Less than 24 hours before a supporter of former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders fired at Republican members of Congress at a baseball practice, seriously injuring House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and four others before U.S. Capitol Police took down the assailant, talk-radio host and author Michael Savage warned of violence by “marginal” people who are set to explode and “kill somebody.”
Savage, the host of the nationally syndicated “The Savage Nation,” was commenting on recent developments that have escalated the anti-Trump “resistance,” such as comedian Kathy Griffin’s ISIS-style photo shoot of the decapitated likeness of Trump and the “Julius Caesar” play in Central Park featuring the assassination of a Trump-like figure.

The left will not go quietly into the night.

How did an everyday schlub from Illinois even know that this practice was being held, when and where?

They have been practicing there for two months.
The shooter has been in the area for several weeks, in that neighborhood. So presumably casing the place.

That’s the line we will soon be hearing from various segments of Totalitarian America, a.k.a. the Democrat Party/Hollywood/Media machine regarding the shooting of a Republican congressman this morning. (News reports are that the shooter asked beforehand if the people practicing for the annual congressional baseball game were Republicans or Democrats). * It’s their version of “The Devil Made Him Do It.” *Then they will go about their normal business of instigating even more violence against those who disagree with them with more stunts like plays portraying the murder of the president, rioting, etc.

We live in a very violent world. Take for instance these quotes said not that long ago from the now leader of the free world, Donald Trump.

"I'll beat the **** out of you."

"Part of the problem ... is nobody wants to hurt each other anymore."

"The audience hit back. That's what we need a little bit more of."

"In the good old days this doesn't happen because they used to treat them very, very rough."

"Try not to hurt him. If you do, I'll defend you in court, don't worry about it."

"I'd like to punch him in the face."

"Knock the **** out of them."

"Maybe he should have been roughed up."

"I don’t know if I’ll do the fighting myself or if other people will."

And let's not forget Trump's interview in Playboy magazine where he praised the mass murderers of Communist China:

“When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength. Our country is right now perceived as weak … as being spit on by the rest of the world –”

Strange I guess, as I don't see anything there about murdering someone. Yes Trump maybe a violent man or just has a massive ego problem....also, do you have a link to the China quote...I would like to see it.

"Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.

Matthew 26:52

And Jesus was right....Trump may very well (God forbid) die by the sword. But that would in no way be justified because of your provided quotes

Gabby Gifford was a Democrat. So your point is invalid as always in this realm

No, it isn't. It's not about who gets targeted as much as who does the deed. Almost invariably, it's a leftist like yourself.

Loughner was a leftist radical according to his old school friend, and then psychotic.

Source?

There was a book written called "A Safeway in Arizon: What the Gabrielle Giffords Shooting Tells Us About the Grand Canyon State and Life in America"

Follow that link and tell me what it says about Loughner.

Your desperation to politicize this is simplistic at best.

Shove your old fake news. His former friend ID'd him as a Leftist.

And by the way, the Left has gone out of its way to make EVERYTHING political.

Today was a prime example of radical extremist leftists who don't "disagree" with policies or ideas, they hate and label people as evil, justifying violence

I know. I linked to it, smart guy. Her name was Caitie Parker.

Loughner is clearly a leftist: Conservative? I don't think so, says Lisa Morris in Blogger News Network. Loughner's list of favorite books include's Hitler's Mein Kampf and Marx's Communist Manifesto, he apparently likes flag burning, and a good high school friend, Caitie Parker, describes him as "left wing," "quite liberal," and a "political radical." Sounds like "he was influenced by socialists."

He fits better on the fringy right: Loughner and the far left both have anti-government views, says Mark Potok at the Southern Poverty Law Center. But when you study his bizarre internet paper trail, Loughner sounds more like a "right-wing extremist." His screeds against "currency that's not backed by gold" and government "mind control" through "controlling grammar" are the stuff of the conspiracy theorists in the far-right "Patriot" movement.

Loughner's paranoia is its own ideology: "Forget right or left," says Kathryn Olmsted in Foreign Policy. "Loughner's particular brand of government paranoia" fits in its own, "purely all-American" category. He reportedly thinks the U.S. faked the moon landing, the Federal Reserve is a Jewish plot, and 9/11 was a U.S. job. This "toxic jumble of left- and right-wing conspiracy theories" doesn't fit comfortably in either party, but it's also, unfortunately, not as fringy as before.

And by the way, the Left has gone out of its way to make EVERYTHING political.

And now you're just as stupid and simple-minded as they are. Congrats :plain:

I can tell that part of you is happy that this happened today. As if it somehow justifies all the political tribalism you've been spewing the past few months.

Enjoy it :idunno:

Cool story, desperado. I'll go with someone who personally knew him over the revisionist analysis of a blogger.

No, imbecile, we're pointing out how the Left's rhetoric causes their own unhinged to form mobs, riot, commit assaults, damage property and attempt murder. Remember Obama's "Get in their face" and "punch back twice as hard"? Yeah, that.

I wish I could cuss you out on here right now. Your "assessment" is sickening

What is *sickening* is using these types of situations to point the finger and pretend like a political point has been made. It hasn't. With the exception of the outcome, the aggressor's representation of the left would be on par with the that of the radical right who are responsible for burning down the Mississippi church in the name of Trump. https://www.theatlantic.com/politic...ck-church-burned-in-the-name-of-trump/506246/

The Right. Radical right. Right?

Both sides play political tribalism. Stop lying to yourself. Obama said "get in their face" et al. Shall I quote Trump?

I just spent 8 years criticizing Obama and now your Trump fan boy idiots have put on the cheer-leading skirts. Ra fricken ra. :loser:
