In Windows locate the Character Map in Windows Accessories, find a number of different types of "u" select and copy it, then paste it to wherever you want it to go.

Easier to type ALT+2052 if you're using a PC - or option+u, then type u if you're using a mac. Or... copy/paste the word with the ¨ and the ¨comes with.

Try my method above, I couldn't do any better than you with ALT+2052, maybe a US keyboard is different?

lain: I didn't even think of that. :chuckle: I entirely forgot I had that feature on my phone, although I don't post too much from it anyway. But - I got my first ever MacBook a few months ago, am still learning my way around it, so I just tried the keyboard and yep... I can do it there, too. Thanks. You win the easy button, I guess.
