I have him. I'm sharing my love of God with a man who is actively denying the truth of it, who is striking at me in a way that would have infuriated me once... That's not sick, it's right. It's the example I was given, that I've been failing around here.

So God, who has the best sense of humor I've ever met, gave you to me like a present. I get it. Sick? I've never been better. :D

Oh, I see how you read it. I gave up the plans I had made, the avenues open in politics and the old halls of power dance and instead went to a poverty law firm. I didn't see how you could miss that given you a) know I'm an attorney and b) I've spoken about my spending the opening years of my practice working VAWA cases and for the poor.

You must have forgotten. Ah, well. Good. No harm done then and forgive me for misunderstanding or putting it awkwardly.

Come on, koban. You know better. I've been giving you grief in response to grief for years now. This is new ground. What's so wonderful about all that animosity you're carrying? What's it going to get you, do for anyone?

I can tell you. Nothing. Nothing at all. Let go of it. It's easy.

Here's how: I forgive you every single thing you've done to me. I don't want to carry that. And every time you speak against me this is what you're getting for as long as I'm here.

Now try to find me ever doing that where you're concerned. You won't. Oh, I've been getting into the neighborhood, considering my obligation to extend a hand, but on condition. But what's that? Conditions are for ego and Jesus didn't say, forgive them, provided...so neither will I.

God has a plan for anyone who wants it. I think you could do a tremendous good here. I've said as much but it bears repeating. It's hard for me to imagine a better witness if you let go of the impediments to it.

I'm rooting for that and for you.

Let it go. You'll feel so much better you won't believe it. :D
