crocus
it is the first flower of spring
I have planted many of them
but
I am not trying to feed the bunnies
When I lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan the Crocuses would peep through the snow. It was delightful because a most certain sign of spring.
In Minnesota Spring comes around May!
Crocus is beautiful flower. But it does not do well at all in Texas. We have to plant every year and only flowers winter time and die when warm whether comes.
the forsythia is also the first sign of spring

one winter I forced it by bringing cuttings inside
in water, they will bloom inside

And me snug in my easy chair, Christmas tree lights gleaming, with my coffee and my knitting watching the news!
Sent a box of cookies off yesterday to my grandson in the Navy.
