"Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him..."
(Acts 2:22)

The Father of Jesus did the miracles, etc.
How did Jesus' Father become a father?

Who raised Jesus from the dead? Jesus said that He would do it. Did Jesus lie?

Joh 2:19-22 KJV Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. (20) Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? (21) But he spake of the temple of his body. (22) When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

Act 10:38-41 KJV How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (39) And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: (40) Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; (41) Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

Jesus said that HE would raise Himself.

Jesus had a command of his Father to lay down his life and after he laid down his life (he died) he took back his life when God raised him from the dead ones.

Quit with the distractions.

Jesus said that HE would raise HIMSELF after three days.... That's what the scripture says PLAINLY.

The scripture ALSO says that GOD raised Jesus from the dead.

Do the simple math and put two and two together. Jesus, who is God, raise Himself from the dead.

Listen to your own words!

You say that Jesus said HE would raise HIMSELF. Can you comprehend your own words?

If HIMSELF was in the grave then who raise HIM? Himself?

The Scripture over and over again says that God raised HIM.

The reason Jesus could say that he would raise himself is because God commanded HIM to lay down HIS life. And if HE laid down HIS OWN life then He could take HIS OWN life back again. Jesus took his own life back again by giving up his life.

He who loses HIS OWN life for my sake shall save HIS OWN life, say Jesus.

A person who would lose his life for Jesus' sake would be SAVING HIS OWN LIFE!

What Jesus did by laying down his own life was saving HIS OWN life. And that's why he could say that he would raise HIMSELF because he would be saving his own life in obedience to his Father.

In other words, Jesus lied when He said he would raise himself from the dead.

Is that what you're saying?

All of your posturing does NOT change the FACT that the Lord Jesus Christ said that HE would raise HIMSELF.

So it appears that you really do think that Jesus was lying.
