The OP just doesn't understand that Mr Floyd could never have been convicted of passing a bad note.
Never.
Not possible.
But he could be killed in the street for it..........
He could have received a forged note innocently and spent it innocently.
Some shops are lazy about forgeries and then, when they find one, they get rid of it when they give out change.
Some shops are lazy and when they find a forged note they wait until a shopper pays with the same value note and then let them leave, switching notes and then running outside to stop/challenge them. This one a 'classic'.....
Some retailers (even national sized ones) try to get rid of bad notes in cash-to-bank transits. (Oh yes!)
The possibilities go on......... I've come across, reported or arrested most of the dishonest ones in my time........ and I've helped to defend the innocents.
But Mr Floyd died because of it.......... and I don't think that the World will ever forget this injustice. Never.
But there will always be the nutters, the haters, the slanderers, the crazies and the extremists who rant their vomit against his innocence.
