FISA Memo Released and Mueller Investigation Is On Shaky Ground

"According to the Washington Examiner's Byron York who had access to an early released version, a key point in the memo is that the "salacious and unverified" Steele dossier formed the essential part of the initial and all three renewal applications against Carter Page, in line with what as previously leaked.

As York also explicitly highlights, "The FBI's Andrew McCabe confirmed to the committee that no FISA warrant would have been sought from the FISA Court without the Steele dossier information."

This, as Fox News confirms, means that absent the dossier, at least one of the surveillance warrants in the case would not have been obtained, and - by implication - the entire Mueller probe is thus on shaky legal ground."

The facts are clear. The FISA warrant was obtained illegally so nothing found under that warrant is admissible in a court of law.

The "fruit of the poison tree" is only a doctrine that excludes evidence which is obtained illegally from being admissable in a court of law.

Yes, and Judicial Watch is filing another FOIA lawsuit to see the applications for the FISA warrants, which are not released yet. The dems will spin this as best they can with their own memo soon. That's why we need to have a transparent, adult conversation about the FISA warrants AND the applications filed to get the warrants.

“Memo proves that the FBI and DOJ knew that the dossier justifying the wiretap warrants on Trump was funded by Clinton and DNC, but omitted that fact from the court. They lied to spy on Trump.”

[illegally spying on a duly elected President to undermine and end his president should count as sedition/prison time for all involved, including John McCain]

Commenter at a favorite blog raises excellent point.

Consider the numerous (and practically uncountable) illegal leaks against Trump that have been deployed to the media (who dutifully disseminate them to the public) sense before Trump was even elected.

Now consider that there were ZERO leaks regarding the House Intelligence Committee Report (i.e. "the Memo") even though the entire House of Reps had access to it.

That in itself is utterly damning of the Deep State.

Why wasn't the Memo leaked?

Well, the Republicans weren't going to leaks it because a) that would have diluted its impact today; and b) if found out, it would have undermined GOP credibility regarding protecting classified information and the FISA process.

The Democrats sure as hell weren't going to leak it because it helps the GOP and Donald Trump.

The fifth-columnists at the FBI and DOJ sure as hell weren't going to leak it because it exposes their hateful treachery against their President.

However, this utter 'failure' to leak information regarding the Memo basically _PROVES_ that all prior leaks were avowed enemies of Trump in the DOJ FBI.

Yes, all of us (conservatives and Trump supporters) have known this for a long time now. But now it is literally undeniable. I've already tested it.

When I asked a liberal friend to explain the discrepancy and how it can point to anything else other than the concerted effort within the FBI and DOJ to undermine the President they are supposed to be serving by illegally leaking classified information: she not only had no alternative explanation. She begrudgingly admitted that this must be what is happening. And she hates Trump.

If all of this is proven through scrutiny, then, this story is bigger than we surmised it to be from the beginning. This has to bad news for the far-left Dems. No wonder they were so adamant about NOT having this Memo released for public viewing.

The facts are clear - Christmas just came early for the Democrats and its been delivered courtesy of the White House/Devin Nunes!

This memo is so full of holes that it will be Republicans who will be placed under a "full court press" trying to explain its inconsistencies!

In addition, the stock market just fell by almost 700 points (2.55%) - for a President who takes all the credit when the stock market goes up, he has come explaining to do!
