Fiona Hill: "The president was trying to stage a coup"

It's a reason and it's a good one. Full release of all videos would enable future terrorists to mock up a model of the Capital and map out a strategy for a quick attack. One of the reasons why the J6 assault was less successful than it could have been is that many of the rioters simply did not know where to go once they stormed in, so they just roamed around wreaking havoc.

What on earth do you imagine would be in any as yet unreleased videos?
Quite. Let's not forget Officer Eugene Goodman who led rioters away from the room that had Pence et al in it...

Jefferson already knows the answer, we went over this last year:

The Democrats are refusing to release about 1400 hours of video from inside the Capitol from that day. What do you think they're afraid of?

The Democrats are refusing? Do you have a cite for that? I know they've had some trouble getting footage from Capitol police, who aren't keen on releasing the information because according to counsel for the Capitol police:

DiBiase said that the agency's legally authorized policy is to sharply restrict access to such videos because it could be used by bad actors — including many of the alleged insurrectionists now facing charges — to map out the interior of the Capitol and pose a future threat to lawmakers.

Why did the democrats refuse to allow republicans to call witnesses in Trump's bogus impeachment trial and why did they suspend due process and refuse to allow Trump a proper defense? Because their impeachment was bogus. Why do blacks cry foul when tried in a court composed of a racist white jury and a racist white judge? Because the racist white bigots are not allowing the black defendant his constitutional rights.

Why are Republicans crying foul in the trial of Hillary's lawyer who lied about the Trump/Russian collusion conspiracy origin? Because the judge and jury are all Hillary supporters.

Why are republicans in Congress crying foul over the Jan 6 hearings? Because the biased one-sided democrat hearings are conducted by democrats who cherry-pick, assemble, and massage facts presented by democrats with democrat biases and hatred for Trump and conservatives. There is no way that the trial will be fair.

In the weeks leading up to the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, an attorney with ties to the Trump campaign was circulating a memo with plans to block the certification of the Electoral College votes during the joint session of Congress, court records reveal.

Attorney Kenneth Chesebro sent an email to former New York Mayor and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani on Dec. 13, 2020, with detailed plans that would put then-Vice President Mike Pence and Senate president pro tempore Chuck Grassley, Republican of Iowa, in central roles in the Congress' joint session. The email's subject line read, "Brief notes on 'President of the Senate' strategy."

We do know that objectively this upcoming November election is far more important than literally whatever happened on January 6th, right?

OK good.

Flashback to Jan. 5, 2021:

While the Clinton camp and DNC lawyers were doing everything they for four years could to lie Trump out of office he was doing great things for Americans, especially poor Americans. Now that the democrats have stolen a very thin majority they have immorally abused that thin veneer of control to hurt America and poor people more than any other previous presidential administration in history.

Without the report, the November elections should be postponed. The GOP and the orange guy theyworship used their mob of Deplorables to try overturn an election.

As usual democrats are lying about Jan 6 and using those lies to try to destroy republican political influence while simultaneously hiding their own election fraud in 2020.

A former top adviser to the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot said Sunday there was no “smoking gun” indicating that then-President Trump planned for the U.S. Capitol to be overrun by his supporters.

Denver Riggleman, who until recently was a senior adviser to the committee, told CNN’s “State of the Union” that there was no direct evidence indicating the riot was a premeditated attack.
