Heavyside laid the foundation for a lot of the subjects I studied as an under-grad. I don't know which Hamilton you are referring to.
I'm grading you at 51%.
Heavyside singlehandedly invented modern electronics,
by taking the quaternions of Hamilton and breaking them apart
into a system of vector calculus,
which created all of modern circuit and network analysis.
I would have accepted "he invented vectors for electronics" for 75% grade.
There is only one Hamilton of significance in mathematics, physics,
and spacetime.
He discovered (invented) Quaternions (4-dimensional vector algebra),
laying the foundations for modern geometrical spacetime formulas.
"the Hamiltonian" is named after him.
That kind of physics however, is too advanced for electrical engineers,
so I was only giving bonus points on Hamilton, up to 20% of mark.
