Only God has eternal life. Why do you not believe that?

He wasn't discussing human beings, he was discussing exhaulted beings.
Elohim has taken his place in the divine council;
in the midst of the elohim he holds judgment:
Psalm 82:1b ESV
No one other than God has eternal life.
"The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ" (Romans 8:16-17)
As joint heirs with Christ we inherit everything Christ inherits including eternal life.

No, no other "god" can create life.
"elohim" are not humans.
However, once created, they possess eternal "life".
Humans also have eternal "life", it just depends on where they will spend eternity.
