"took" meaning "took out a loan to help finance his Senate campaign." But then at least Ted Cruz pays his Goldman Sachs/Citibank loans back:

Donald Trump is an imposter among conservatives in the Republican party. That people support him demonstrates an ugly truth, his supporters never were conservative and never really had the values they seemingly demanded with past (R) candidates.

The guy is a greedy capitalist pig who has no business being a statesman! What a tragic blunder the (R)'s are making!
