What I'm saying is, the world now has the Holy Spirit and The Holy Scriptures.
We don't need signs and wonders, healing's, raising the dead, etc! God's
Grace is is ALL we need. And, it comes to those who hear the message and
place their faith in Christ as their Lord and Savior!

The Bible says, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the "Word of God!"

The Holy Spirit uses the Holy Bible to convict men of their sin and makes
them aware that they NEED a Savior. (Which is Christ)

In order to be right with God, one must first, hear the message, place their
faith in Christ, and not themselves, be sealed and indwelt by the Holy Spirit,
and baptized (not with water) by The Holy Spirit into the "Body of Christ!"

It's a "Spiritual operation" accomplished by The Holy Spirit! Once we're in
The Body of Christ, we have already received the "Righteousness of Christ!"

He died to pay for ALL of the sins of mankind, past, present, and future!
However, ONLY those who place their faith in Him, will receive the
benefits of His "Death, burial, and resurrection!"

However, the "Body of Christ" didn't come around until Christ
met Saul (Paul) on the road to Damascus and subsequently
sent him to the gentiles with the "Grace Message."

So in John, Christ was still speaking to the Lost Sheep of Israel!

What scriptures say the Body of Christ began with Paul?

The "sin" question was taken care of at the cross, for ALL time and
ALL men! Revelation says that, the "dead" (unsaved) will be judged
according to their "WORKS," not their "sins" Why? Because, Christ
paid the price for ALL of mankind's sins! Both the saved and the
unsaved!

Not to mention for unbelievers (1 Cor 14:22). But the pentecostals choose to use White-Out on that verse. Cramps their poseur style.

Huh? I have addressed this over and over. This one verse is not denied by unbelievers. You are the one whiting out the rest of the chapter that talks about church/believers/edification....both/and, not either/or.

Your arguments are lame.

1 Corinthians 12:27 "Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular." The Body of Christ wasn't spoken of until Paul!

Romans 12:5 "So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another"

You may search Paul's writings to find more!

to the House of Israel! While Paul was sent to the gentiles with the

No.

The message of Gods grace went first to the Jews who became the foundation members of the Body of Christ.

Pauls message was that believers of all nations can be included into that one Body of Christ.

Eph 2:11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands—
Eph 2:12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
Eph 2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
Eph 2:16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
Eph 2:17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.
Eph 2:18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Eph 2:19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
Eph 2:20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, Eph 2:21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,
Eph 2:22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

So, you don't believe two different messages were being preached?
1) The Kingdom Message!
2) The Grace Message!

Yep. There is the preaching of Christ according to the flesh (Rom 1:3, Matt 1:1, Rom 4:1, Rom 9:5) and the preaching of Christ according to the revelation of the mystery (Rom 16:25, Eph 3:8-9, 2 Cor 5:16).

Both are aspects of Christ. Both are biblical and true. But they are not the same. We today can know, follow and obey only one aspect, not the other.

Okay then.

If their tongues sound identical to yours but they are (let's assume, since you say it's possible) not saved, then how are they able to speak in tongues so perfectly in the first place? Remember, their tongues sound exactly like yours. You can't tell them apart just by sound. So WHERE does an unbeliever's perfect-sounding FAKE tongues come from, since they can't come from God?

I caught the Christ rejector in a lie, so what do we get from her? Emotional blubberings.........

"The LORD God told Judas to raise the dead, heal the sick, and to preach "the gospel," fool."-Saint John W

oatmush's response/challenge:

"Show me."

And I did:

Luke 9 KJV

1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.

4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.

5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where

Heal the sick. Raise the dead. Cure disesases.

What are you waiting for, deceiver-ette?

I thought so, you con artist-fraud-ette.

"Seems you get stumped by scripture a lot"-wimpy

Seems you stump all of us, with those "original" zingers, you wimp.

Mark 9:23 All things (what scripture promises) are possible to them that believe.

I have believed and seen.

Your foul and false accusations do not change that.

Peter and Paul and Jesus Christ spoke accurately, but you, you are full of deceit and harbor ill will towards those who you envy for having sought out and learned how to become spiritually minded.

You remain carnally minded, that does not please God,

Your carnal mind is emnity to God

Romans 8:1-15

Set you affections on things above, not on things on the earth.

You are a wolf, wolfie. Ny evidence? Your satanic "posts."

Your opinion is not evidence.

If you hand a clue, but you don't

You remain ignorant of spiritual matters, although God would that you not.

I Corinthians 12:1

You forget that God does not want you doing anything stupid.

Luke 11:9-13

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

What are you afraid of?

Fear not!

FEAR NOT!

Had Judas been excluded from working miracles, he would have stood out like the thumb on that little hand there. The other disciples would have had no reason to ask, "Is it me, Lord?" They would have known it had to be Judas.

Judas did it ,

What is your excuse?

Tongues are for a sign to unbelievers, you do not believe in tongues, though scriptures teach it, tongues are sign to you that tongues are real and scriptural

I Corinthians 12:1

You do not believe scripture regarding speaking in tongues, therefore tongues are a sign to you, that you are missing out on tongues and the power of God made available that speaking in tongues opens up to a believer.

Why not believe? then tongues won't have to be a sign to you.

I asked a question the other day - a good one, as mine tend to be - but got no answer that I can recall.

If one of you pentecostals hear a stranger speaking in tongues identical to and as fluent as any you've ever heard, do you automatically assume that person is saved?

If so, why?

If no, why not?

They could be speaking a foreign language that they know.

Happens all the time in this multicultural society of ours
