While Jesus was dying on the cross God tore the veil that covered the Holy of Holies from the top to the bottom, Matthew 27:51. This signified the end of the Old Covenant, the law and the Jewish religion.
"Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commmandments contained in the ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace" Ephesians 2:15.
"Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross" Colossians 2:14.
In spite of these two scriptures and many others, some still want to live according to the commandments and the law. I have concluded that those who live by laws, rules and religion don't have faith. If you don't have faith the only thing left is religion and law.
Paul said, "The Just Shall Live By Faith" Romans 1:17. Who are the just? The just are blood bought Christians that believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They believe that they have been justified by faith, apart from the commandments, the law and religion.
"But to him that does no works (including law keeping) but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness" Romans 4:5.
Did all of you religious people get that? Faith counts for righteousness, not keeping the commandments that you don't keep anyway. No one can keep the law. The minute that one believes that they can keep the law is the minute that one becomes a hypocrite.
