This thread is a demonstration of the ignorant trolling of e4e. His lack of knowledge is incredible. I don't think he's crawled out from under the rock he's been hiding under for months, maybe years. Even his media heroes, the mockingbird media, say she hasn't been there. Lester Holt, one of the biggest spreaders of disinformation, admits she hasn't been there.

... e4e has demonstrated to anybody previously unconvinced that he is, beyond any doubt, retarded.
How is that exactly?

What does the evidence of this thread show? Let us review:

1. In the first post, the redoubtable marke made a highly misleading claim that Kamala Harris lied.
2. I showed, using actual sound reasoning - something that appears to be unfamiliar to you and your ilk - that this accusation was misleading.
3. You guys then deployed your usual strategy when cornered - lay on the name-calling and the evasion.
4. Nowhere, not in one post, have you (or your equally beef-witted friends) ever supported the initial claim that Harris lied.

And this makes me retarded?

Again, what exactly is the lie, you insufferable pinhead?

In case anyone with more than a couple of brain cells is following this loony exchange, I will, once more, show why the OP is misleading. Harris said "we've been to the border". Not "I have been to the border", "we've been to the border".

The difference is crucial, but appears to escapes the feeble-minded thinking of my illustrious colleagues on the right.

This "we have done X" phrasing is used all the time in politics with no intent to imply that the person making the statement has done X themselves.

Prime example: If someone asked Richard Nixon "have you been to the moon?", they are not asking if he has personally been to the moon! The intent of such a question is to ask "has your nation sent people to the moon?".

So when Harris is asked "have you been to the border?", it is perfectly reasonable for her to take the question in precisely this manner, even if that was not Lester Holt's intent.

Now I realize such a subtle argument will really tax the minds of the denizens of this forum. But that is their problem.

In other words, you refuse to go to the links provided and read the articles. Self-imposed ignorance and dishonesty is your trademark.
I have been to the links - there is no evidence to support the claim.

But go ahead, prove me wrong - provide the transcript of the specific part where Harris lied.

While we are at it, how is that list of doctors coming - the ones you said supported Dr. Byram Bridle's Covid theory?

So, do you believe Harris has been to the border, or do you believe she never said she has been to the border to assess the out-of-control illegal immigrant crisis there?

I believe she never claimed that she had personally been to the border. But, as I have argued, there is no lie here.

I saw somebody the other day addressing Harris's trip to Guatemala, made the comparison to having bees in your house. And instead of closing your windowscreens, going over to your neighbor's house to complain about his beehives.
Harris doesn't want to close the windowscreens. She and Joe the Rapist WANT open windows, they WANT bees in the house.

I pass muster on the first score (barely) but yes, anyone with an IQ above 17.9 would understand the actual intent. Those invested in trolling or incapable of recognizing the nuances of the English language will not, however.

Did Harris lie or was she being evasive? It looks like she lied in her weaseling attempts to be evasive.

During the interview, Holt asked Harris, "The question that has come up, and you heard it here, and you'll hear it again I'm sure, is, 'Why not visit the border? Why not see what Americans are seeing in this crisis?'"

"Well, we are going to the border," Harris replied. "We have to deal with what's happening at the border, there's no question about that. That's not a debatable point. But we have to understand that there's a reason people are arriving at our border and ask what is that reason and then identify the problem so we can fix it."

Holt brought up the subject again later in the interview. He asked, "Do you have any plans to visit the border?"

"At some point, you know, we are going to the border. We've been to the border. So this whole thing about the border. We've been to the border. We've been to the border," Harris said.

Holt then pressed her why she had not made a trip there personally. He said, "You haven't been to the border."

"And I haven't been to Europe," Harris replied. "And, I mean, I don't understand the point that you're making. I'm not discounting the importance of the border."

Where is there any lie?
Saying "I have been to the border" in response to a reporter who asks why she has not yet been to the border is a lie. Harris has not been seen at the border this year, no matter what she says to the contrary, even if she is just fudging words to try to make it seem she says she has been to the border when she hasn't.
