A poll observer reporting from the front lines:
She demanded that the poll workers stop what they were doing and backup all computers in case of power outage or tornado(?). Just baseless, bad faith challenges to slow the process. And after Trump filed his lawsuit and MI was called for Biden, the GOP strategy shifted to
Challenge every single ballot. I know this because I overheard their organizers pass on the new message. They didnt even pretend to have a reason for doing so, just repeated “I challenge this ballot; I challenge that ballot” over and over again as the poll workers tried to count.
At one point, my good friend and law school classmate @sumnertruax looked over at me and said “this is not how democracy is supposed to work.” It was so true, and so sad.
The optics of it all weren’t lost on me either. Picture a huge space filled with predominantly Black poll workers just trying to do their gd jobs while white MI GOP challengers hovered over them, yelling at them that they’re wrong, doing a bad job, or committing crimes.
The harassment and intimidation — both from the GOP challengers in the room and the GOP supporters banging on the windows trying to get in — is seared onto my brain. Security guards had to escort us out a side entrance so we could leave the building safely.
One of the most jarring things was stepping outside of the building and seeing the sun set across the river in Canada. The juxtaposition of exiting the epicenter of “American democracy” that felt more like mob rule and seeing the Canadian flag gently flap in the wind a mile away,
An example of a functioning democracy...the irony was painful. I left exhausted, but mostly just sad. I love America, but some of you make it so hard.

So, a Canadian who is most likely a whole-hearted leftist, accuses Trump voters of bad behavior. I've heard so much of this it's not funny. I live near the Canadian border and the crazy Canadians who come down here are so indoctrinated that they think socialism is the best thing ever. They think anyone on the right, just like you, is crazy. So that this woman made these types of accusation is pretty much the norm for her ilk. I don't buy it. It's far too pat.

Hopefully, these people are being recorded so that their behavior can be put up on the net for everyone to see. They've lost faith in America, and are now just trying to get their way, regardless of law or even common decency. As has been written before, the non-polling metrics had all been going to Trump including party registrations trends; the respective primary votes; candidate enthusiasm; social media followings; broadcast and digital media ratings; online searches; the number of (especially small) donors; and the number of individuals betting on each candidate. So you would have to believe that all these historically accurate measures all suddenly were wrong to believe that Trump lost.
Basham also points to a variety of different irregularities that require answers including:
1. Why late on election night did swing states stop counting votes when Trump was way ahead? Why were some observers stopped from getting to viably observe the counting?
2. Unusual vote counts coming in batches of hundreds of thousands with unusually high numbers for Biden.
3. “Historically low absentee ballot rejection rates despite the massive expansion of mail voting.”
4. Witnesses reporting ballots in pristine condition (not folded), missing votes, invalid residential addresses.
5.In Georgia, Biden overtook Trump with 89 percent of the votes counted. For the next 53 batches of votes counted, Biden led Trump by the same exact 50.05 to 49.95 percent margin in every single batch. It is particularly perplexing that all statistical anomalies and tabulation abnormalities were in Biden’s favor. Whether the cause was simple human error or nefarious activity, or a combination, clearly something peculiar happened."
