So a related question that I deal with in the book is, the electoral votes themselves, which are sent by certified mail, by each of the states--again, signed in a very specific way, all outlined in the Constitution--are kept in those mahogany boxes that we see getting, you know, walked into the--into the House chamber for the counting of the votes that are opened up as the states are called and counted and tabulated. And then, of course, as you remember, the Senate floor was breached. And what if they had gotten hold of the boxes and destroyed the ballots? Now you say, okay, well, the states can just send them in again. But there's no actual mechanism in law for how that--how that happens, because again, they have to be certified by certain dates, they have to be originals, they can't be copies.

And if you remember, Karen, one of the striking things about the riot was that the room that got ransacked the most, I mean really just destroyed as if they were really looking for something--it looked like, you know, a burglar team going through and trying to get a hold of something--was the--was the parliamentarian's office. And I believe that those rioters who were very keenly focused--this was not a protest, it wasn’t--this was an effort to stop a transition of power. I believe they were searching for those ballots, with the intent of destroying them, and they were saved, again, by a junior staffer who's named--didn't want her name to be used, doesn't want to be highlighted for doing this. But again, that small step, what would have happened?

We have seen democrats exposed as fake Trump supporters doing wicked things the media can dishonestly blame Trump for, which is wicked. Democrats planned the Jan 6 insurrection to stop Congress from examining the credible evidence of voter fraud scheduled to be examined on that day. Liars claim otherwise but, of course, they are just lying to cover up their voter fraud.

Anyone who watched it could plainly see it was just another protest turned into a riot. One thing is has seemed to do is stop those former, often riots happening. Haven't heard of one in Portland Ore for quite some time. However that city is still a mess and being avoided by many who live there.

They had to claim it was planned so that the left could portray the right as a bunch of dangerous militia people plotting to take over the country. I guess all these dangerous militia types all just happened to forget their guns that day.

Clearly just a protest that got out of hand, like thousands of others.

There was no insurrection. The protest was no worse than hundreds of violent events by Antifa and BLM all summer long, killing cops and destroying cities. The OP's friends.

An Indiana man charged with carrying a loaded firearm to the Capitol on Jan. 6 told investigators that if he had found Speaker Nancy Pelosi, “you’d be here for another reason,” according to court documentsposted over the weekend.

Mark Mazza, 56, is the latest of about half a dozen Jan. 6 defendants charged with bringing a gun to the Capitol. In this case, Mazza allegedly carried a Taurus revolver known as “The Judge,” which is capable of firing shotgun shells — two of which were in the chamber, along with three hollow-point bullets. A Capitol Police sergeant obtained the weapon after allegedly fending off an assault from Mazza.

By that definition, there was no “insurrection” at the United States Capitol on Jan. 6, according to the FBI. Reuters reports :

The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

"Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases," said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. "Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages."
This report is a devastating blow to President Joe Biden and Democrats, who have attempted to make the existence of an “insurrection” on Jan. 6 a key issue in the 2022 midterm elections. Reuters does note that some “cells of protesters,” including members of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, did coordinate to “break into the Capitol,” but the FBI found “no evidence that the groups had serious plans about what to do if they made it inside.”

There is something seriously wrong with leftists who claim the Jan. 6 protest was the worst violence in the history of the nation and yet also claim the violent leftist protests in 2020 which resulted in billions of dollars in damage and multiple assaults, injuries, and deaths of cops and civilians were "mostly peaceful protests." During the 2020 leftist protests Cameltoe Harris raised hundreds of millions of dollars to bail out the violent leftist thugs while after the Jan. 6 protest she advocated arresting and holding without bail those who showed up to the Capitol to protest voter fraud.

Really? The ignorance which you quote is hilarious. No one can stuff two shotgun shells into the chamber of a gun, The chamber is where the shell is fired. Chambers are built just big enough to hold one round of ammunition, no matter what type of weapon is being used.

The author you quote is an incompetent fool who has no concept of what he is professing himself to be an expert on. He's literally a fool thinking he's capable of writing something authoritative on guns. And you're the same for believing him.
