What do you believe in?



What works, specifically do you do that would allow you to label yourself as a Christian?



You ARE what you believe. Why do works if they do not correspond with your beliefs?

these are very good questions and I appreciate the opportunity to answer them
-but
-you must understand that I cannot take the time or space to answer them completely
1.)I believe Jesus died for all mankind making it possible for us to be saved
2.)works that might label me as a christian are not limited to
-going to church on sunday
-eating fish on fridays during lent
-a cross on my porch
3.)works do not always correspond with beliefs and that is called sin, something that we do everyday but we always repent and try to do better

That was my understanding of your position. It's an interesting difference between us. I think what we do reflects us...or mostly what matters to us. I doubt God will be overly cross with whoever has it wrong, considering.

Anyway, just watched Bridge of Spies with the whole family. It's good that they still make movies about things that matter.

Jesus educated some close disciples well. Peter was not a perfect but he was faithful nonetheless. He learned very well. He was fit to spread Jesus' loving messages to the world.

Most of us know what Jesus taught. It is all in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

But most of us are not faithful like those Jesus' close ones.

It is our choice.

Jesus expects all His faithful one to feed His people who are trying to be faithful.
