It is very difficult for me to find my joy in the Lord when I allow the things that are occurring in this world compel me to grief. The grief compels me to prayer...

to often many just pray

-do nothing that might be construed to be worldly
-we have look at what we can do
-we have to do whatever that is
You have been disregarding Jesus' word of "His followers are not of the world".
The politics are of the world.
Satan is in charge of the world.
The corrupt system of the world will not change until Jesus starts to reign.
In the meantime, His followers main duty is to spread Jesus and His word or messages to the world.

I hope you are not belittling that work of grace.

My neighbor is not interested in anything but sex, money and food. I feed him occasionally and give him money to mow and weed-whack my yard. I feed his dogs when he is out of town and cut his hair when he asks. He does NOT want to attend church with me so that leaves me praying for his soul and living my witness.
What else would you recommend?

Catholics are "Workers" that pray to idols and to Mary the Mother of Jesus. They have a "works-based belief system." They follow "another Gospel." It's not based on the Grace Gospel as preached by the Apostle Paul.
The Catholic church does not preach the truth of God's word/Grace.
