You should consider being a patient. lain:I have tried being patient....
and your fawners...
Else, your second go-to move is to just expand the first go-to move's mistake?
Chrys, for heaven's sake post the next award.

There you go again. Deprecation must be your middle name. :idunno:You should consider being a patient. lain:

Sure. The top posters are probably in contention as well. Oh, you're one of them. Or don't your repeating, identical posts, morning after morning count as taking up space?
good one zoo
I was wondering when someone would call me on that
some things are worth repeating
and
it doesn't take up that much space
It's fine by me. Then, a post with a Youtube video (a short line of code pointing to youtube servers) doesn't take up much server space either.
so why do they have to keep closing those threads?
While you can always go directly to the YouTube site and view the videos there, spending time in class finding the particular videos you want can be inefficient. Furthermore, once you are on the YouTube site, it is easy to become distracted by the other videos recommended to you. One solution is to embed YouTube videos directly into your web page. This allows the video to play on your web page without going to YouTube. The video is still streamed from the YouTube site, so it does not take up any storage space on your web server. source |
StudentX closes them so they don't get too long and unstable. Knight's said that he doesn't want the threads to get too long. Threads get unstable when they get too long. Lots of videos and images are harder to load, but that doesn't mean that they're taking up much server space. This has been explained to you a number of times, and you've ignored it each time.
And I've mentioned many times before that you ought to ask Knight, but you've ignored that too.
It's willful ignorance.
you are the one in denial
there are many threads that go way beyond a thousand posts with no problem
but
you are able to ignore this
As usual, you're ignoring what I'm saying:
"Lots of videos and images are harder to load, but that doesn't mean that they're taking up much server space."
I don't think you're even reading it. This is a waste of time.
and the winner of
the blob award for 2013
is
zoo22
(not for his taking up so much space but for his righteous defense of doing so)
Zoo is one of my favorite posters on TOL. He most surely is not a blob in my estimation.
