Has your spell check gone on strike or something? Truth is truth regardless of political persuasion but folk who use the term 'libtard' can hardly be expected to have much if any of that. In context, you don't disappoint on the score.
Not even close ! The truth to liberals is what they are told the truth is by their handlers. Why is it the left keeps elevating criminals as wonderful productive human beings when the reality is they are criminals ?

Seems like they might have been.
It's difficult to get past Chauvin's decision to continue the restraint after they could no longer find a pulse.

If he had immediately transitioned to CPR, Floyd probably would still have died but the optics would have been totally different.

And in today's world it's all about the optics.

Fascinating. Mr Spock would be intrigued by the complete ignorance and general compartmentalization of people into such a paranoid little box no less. "Liberals" no more have "handlers" than "conservatives" have. You're entertaining in a kinda head shaking way if nothing else.

Seems like they might have been. But I'm not a trained police officer, so I'm not completely sure.

Because the requirements for conviction on some of the charges were not met.
Sitting on someone's neck for 9 minutes was completely unnecessary. Don't need to be a trained police officer to work that one out or the harm that such could (and did) cause.

What requirements weren't met?

I used to wonder how Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, and idiots like Mao got total control , and now I see how playing out in real time. Set the narrative and agenda and the lemmings follow like droids. Call it Paranoia if that makes you feel better but it’s happening to the masses now.

Nah, that happened with the 'MAGA' crowd and the 'Q' followers. Folk with a bit more than a pebble rattling around upstairs are a bit more savvy.

So you don't know that this method of restraint is taught in many police departments?

Felony intent.
Sitting on someone's neck for nine minutes? I doubt that's set out in any sort of police training manual. It may be a procedure to initially restrain a suspect but not for anything like that length of time.

Probably the only reason he hasn't been charged with first degree murder then.

Shame you can't figure out actual reality instead of swimming in a cesspool of your own confirmation bias.
Now that is hilarious as corrupt politicians, blm and antifa destroy the rule of law in America. Stay woke and asleep it fits you well.

So you don't know that this method of restraint is taught in many police departments?

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo on Monday thoroughly rejected Derek Chauvin's actions and use of force during the arrest of George Floyd last May as contrary to department policy.

"Once Mr. Floyd had stopped resisting, and certainly once he was in distress and trying to verbalize that, that should have stopped," Arradondo testified during Chauvin's criminal trial.

"There is an initial reasonableness in trying to just get him under control in the first few seconds," Arradondo said. "But once there was no longer any resistance and clearly when Mr. Floyd was no longer responsive and even motionless, to continue to apply that level of force to a person proned out, handcuffed behind their back -- that in no way shape or form is anything that is by policy. It is not part of our training, and it is certainly not part of our ethics or our values."

In particular, the chief said Chauvin's kneeling on Floyd for nine minutes and 29 seconds was a violation of the policies around de-escalation, objectively reasonable use of force and requirement to render aid.

"That action is not de-escalation, and when we talk about the framework of our sanctity of life and when we talk about the principles and values we have, that action goes contrary to what we're talking about," he said.

Minneapolis policy at the time allowed for some neck restraints, but what Chauvin did was not appropriate, Arradondo said, looking at an image of Chauvin's position on Floyd.

"The conscious neck restraint by policy mentions light to moderate pressure. When I look at (the image) and when I look at the facial expression of Mr. Floyd, that does not appear in any way, shape or form that that is light to moderate pressure."

Also on Monday, police Inspector Katie Blackwell, who was in charge of the department's training program last year, testified that officers are taught to use their arms when doing neck restraints.

"I don't know what kind of improvised position this is," she said of Chauvin's kneeling. "That's not what we train."
