Predestinationism is another Gospel.
Paul said to the Galatians, "I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the GRACE OF CHRIST unto another Gospel. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the Gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed" Galatians 1:6-8.
What was Paul's Gospel?
Paul's Gospel was about the saving work of Jesus Christ. Paul's Gospel makes all other Gospels and religions worthless. The Gospel is about how Jesus Christ has reconciled the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:19.
"But to him that does no works (or religion) but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness, Romans 4:5. Because, all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ. God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them" 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.
If we have been reconciled unto God by Jesus Christ, then why does anyone need to be predestinated? The Gospel makes predestination worthless. No one needs to be predestinated because salvation has been provided for everyone, "That he (Jesus) by the grace of God should taste death for EVERYONE" Hebrews 2:9.
Before Jesus died on the cross he said, "It is finished" what he meant by that is that he had done all that he could do for the salvation of fallen man. "We are complete in Jesus Christ" Colossians 2:10. Because of the work of Jesus that has done in our name and on our behalf, God is now at peace with the world and humanity.
"And having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile ALL THINGS unto himself ; by, I say, whether there be things on the earth or in heaven, and you, that were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblamable and unprovable in his sight. Colossians 1:20-22.
Wouldn't you like to stand before God in the judgment as holy, unblamable and unprovable in his sight? You can by simple child like faith in Christ and his Gospel. No predestination or religion necessary.
