Because a woman's right to vote would be considered a feminist accomplishment by men who would take that right away if they could, I've seen it said here and elsewhere. In their minds, if you support our right to vote, you're a feminist.

Why would you think I would agree with those men? I think their definition of feminist is overly broad, misogynistic and pejorative. The right to vote should have been a citizen right from the very beginning, for women, for Catholics, and for people of color.
