By what law do we convict the christian of sin?
Lighthouse said:No! It is not the freedom to go about doing whatever you please! It's freedom from the bondage of sin!

Here's the bottom line: If I sin, it is in the flesh, not in the Spirit. I am a Christian in the Spirit, not in the flesh. Therefore, it is not the Christian in me who sins. Do you really not get this?

Just answer the question P O L Y. It shouldn't be that hard.Poly said:But if the green monsters want to wear red dresses, who are we to stop them? It doesn't matter either way because everybody knows the hardware store closes at 7pm. :duh:

Somebody already did. :doh:Sozo said:Great question, e4e!
I wonder if anyone can answer it?
I must have missed it. Perhaps you can direct me to the post, or the person who answered it.Knight said:Somebody already did.

godrulz said:The unchanging moral law of God based on His unchanging character. Even secular society knows that murder and adultery are wrong or sinful. Showing your church membership card will not get you out of jail, nor will presuming on God's grace not leave God grieved. He will not be mocked. Thankfully, there is perfect provision for our sin, the Lord Jesus and His finished work.
elected4ever said:That is imposable.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.If a christian is as God is by an act of His and not of ours then how on earth can we violate God's character when ours is the same as His. Are you saying it is possible for God to sin? :
Sozo said:Is that answer acceptable to you?
Do you agree with that?
godrulz said:Yes, though it is an incomplete, imperfect answer. See last post for further insight. :guitar:
Sozo said:My question was to Knight, not you.
I know what you believe.
