Anyone promoting or engaging in rape is a rapist.

how does one "promote" a rape?

is that like being a fight promoter?

If a person can justify the act of rape in their mind as righteous if done to a "whore" (like 1:1 eye-for-eye) they are a rapist at heart.
There is no excuse for a rapist or their supporters to say that the
victim deserved it.

try selling that crap to God:
Isaiah 13The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

6 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.

19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

Who are you calling self righteous rapists? There is no one on this forum who has ever raped anyone.

How can you claim that? I have stated that I never forced any woman to have sex against her will. I will add that I have never forced any person to have sex against their will. When you and the others make the same statement, that will go a little way to proving your claim.

You watched The Accused with Jody Foster, right? The men around the bar watching and encouraging, for example, or anyone telling women they deserve to be raped/ravished.

try selling that crap to God:

God clearly told invading nations to not destroy Israel. Those who did make the attempt were punished in turn.

Raping a woman is like a Babylonian drinking from a cup of the tabernacle - It's defiling, degrading behavior mocking the Maker of the sacred body temple of the victim which is meant for the indwelling Holy Spirit. And it degrades the rapist's temple as well.

Satire would be when you admit to a crime that any fool could see was not actually a crime but was said facetiously. Saying, I got too drunk to give my consent and my wife raped me is an example of good satire.....not poor satire. "And I liked it" was the dead giveaway.

i'm really wondering how many of these guys are aspies

elo's had a problem with me that goes back a long long way

Why not just sum up the problem, so people can understand our long-standing disagreement (since you brought it up). It can be summarized in a question: if you rape someone today are you still saved? You answer yes, and I answer according to scripture and common sense: no.

Nonsense. You think the stripper and the rapist have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them?

Only a humanist would think the ungodly have a "sacred body temple". They think that because they consider themselves to be "little gods". This is why there is such a disconnect between believers and carnal man.

Sinners don't accept the Holy Spirit, despite being given a body that is a temple for the indwelling of His Spirit. Doesn't mean Satan made the body or that it is common. We are all the Father's children, whether dead, lost or saved. Respecting that fact is key to the plan of salvation.

The unholy thing is abusing the body against it's purpose, not the vessel.

According to scripture when a man looks at a woman with lust he's committed adultery with her in his heart. You have given yourself permission to do just that, insisting you do nothing wrong. That's how a carnal man rationalizes his sin, so I'd be darn careful about what you accuse Doser of. You've accused me of saying I do not sin when you know I said sin is not accounted to me, and I am not under the law.

What you do is what satan does.....just a little twist here and there. Just a bit of sleight of hand. A word off here or a word off there. Yes, you're too much like your father, Elo.

yes, but we've already proven you to be a liar

as well as a pervert

and a make-believe Christian

You've not proven me a liar or a pervert, so are a false accuser. Your definition of Christian is asinine, so who cares? At least I can honestly make the claim that I have never forced any person to have sex against their will, but you have avoided saying that about yourself when given the opportunity. Twice now.

Who has been willing to declare that they are not a rapist, other than my husband? Would you like to join him in that declaration?

Let us stand together against rape for any reason and then we can discuss how to avoid rape and how to take responsibility for living in a society of rapist predators.

:mock: "take responsibility"

Go start your own thread. You have so much to say, and nothing to do with the topic at hand. You're a troll. Scram troll......be gone.

Rather I've confronted you because you use 1 John 3:9 to claim you don't sin while you still commit acts that are condemned as sin under the law, e.g. coveting and other acts listed in Galatians 5:19-21. Your argument that the sin you are committing is not really sin, or not counted against you, is garbage and part of a false gospel you have been preaching for years.

I think that the change in the law is a good thing. The law was changed for a reason, what would cause legislators to change laws to give wives more legal protection against sexual assault?
I believe the change in the law was an act of pure evil.
Wives do not need legal protection against having sex with their husbands.
Husbands and wives having sex with each other is the foundation of the marriage contract.
People having sex outside of marriage is repeatedly condemned throughout the entire Bible, but not a single word is said to condemn a married couple having sex.
Allowing a wife to press criminal charges of rape against her husband without any evidence other than her word that she did not consent is detrimental to the institution of marriage.

I am a Christian man who understands that the law of an eye for eye a d the law of do to others what you want them to do to you are not the same thing.
So am I, so what?

I follow Christ's lead as a servant who cares for others and treats them fairly and cares for their needs ahead of my own. I am a Christian man who loves and respects my wife and extends that same respect to all women.
So am I, so what?

Irony.
