AMA, in November 2020, reverses itself says HCQ good drug for coronavirus

In news you've never heard from the mockingbird media, the AMA has reversed itself on HCQ. Ain't it just amazing that a wild-eyed conspiracy theorist like me has been correct all along? The only reason anyone came out against HCQ is because Trump endorsed it's use. All the lies the mockingbird media has told about this drug ought to cast a lot of doubt in even socialist's eyes as to their truthfulness. And Democrat's truthfulness as the barrage of lies about this treatment was both hysterical and non-stop. If you believed both the media and the Democrats consider yourself to have been manipulated by both sources. You've been convinced that one of the more harmless pharmaceuticals in existence was dangerous by a large group of liars.

Ain't it odd how the links to more than 100 studies showing it's effectiveness have been ignored by those believing a lie? Think about how many lives have been destroyed by all the lying. The entire group of propagandists has shown their utter disregard for human lives. They have proven themselves to be your enemies, not your friends. If any of your friends and/or relatives have died. Their death lies at the door of the media and the Democrats. The lies were all for political purposes.

It doesn't surprise me about hydroxychloroquine. They did the same with AIDS - see Dallas Buyers Club.

This is one reason why I am pushing to eliminate the illegalization of drugs - these decisions shouldn't be left to politicians.

ffreloader, you treat medical science as if it were religious dogma. The AMA recommends the best that they know at the time- irrespective of Donald Trump or what the press says.
As it is, the report that you are so excited about doesn't recommend this treatment. It recommends allowing doctors to use it if they see fit.

Mind you- if the medical community wants to hide simple cures- why did they even issue such a statement?

RESOLVED, That our American Medical Association rescind its statement calling for physicians 5 to stop prescribing hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine until sufficient evidence becomes 6 available to conclusively illustrate that the harm associated with use outweighs benefit early in 7 the disease course. Implying that such treatment is inappropriate contradicts AMA Policy 8 H-120.988, “Patient Access to Treatments Prescribed by Their Physicians,” that addresses off 9 label prescriptions as appropriate in the judgement of the prescribing physician (Directive to 10 Take Action); and be it further 11 12 RESOLVED, That our AMA rescind its joint statement with the American Pharmacists 13 Association and American Society of Health System Pharmacists, and update it with a joint 14 statement notifying patients that further studies are ongoing to clarify any potential benefit of 15 hydroxychloroquine and combination therapies for the treatment of COVID-19 (Directive to Take 16 Action); and be it further 17 18 RESOLVED, That our AMA reassure the patients whose physicians are prescribing 19 hydroxychloroquine and combination therapies for their early-stage COVID-19 diagnosis by 20 issuing an updated statement clarifying our support for a physician’s ability to prescribe an FDA21 approved medication for off label use, if it is in her/his best clinical judgement, with specific 22 reference to the use of hydroxychloroquine and combination therapies for the treatment of the 23 earliest stage of COVID-19 (Directive to Take Action); and be it further ...

It seems you don't understand the word "rescind". Here's a little commentary on it to help you out.

Please actually read what it says.
They had recommended that doctors avoid using that treatment.
They rescinded that statement (because of more data- which is how things work in science), and said it is OK to prescribe it- they don't 'recommend' it, since the data is inconclusive- they leave it up to the doctor's judgement.

The AMA is now saying what I have been saying for many months. The evidence upholds the use of HCQ. I just never played politics with the evidence. They did until Trump was out of office. Just like anna, chair, eider, etc....

1. What exactly have you 'been saying for many months'?
2. What exactly does the AMA now say?
3. What exactly did the AMA say in the past?

I suggest that you read what the AMA wrote before you answer the above.
