Acknowledge the truth.
Judas did NOT repent of being a thief, he went along with Christ, like many do, not repenting of their sins and appearing to be of Christ.
Acknowledge that now, or I will wonder what you are running from.

Judas repented to the priests and elders.
We have to repent to Jesus.
Judas did not believe he was forgiven.
We have to REPENT of our SINS and BELIEVE we are forgiven.
Your pastor cannot save you.
Your friend or relative cannot save you.
Your spouse cannot save you.
Don't get me wrong, they can save you by preaching the truth to you and you must do something---
you must believe in Jesus and repent of your sins and believe you are forgiven.
Nope.
He took money back to them, but he had already repented.

What don't you get that Judas should have repented of being a thief when he started following Jesus?
What don't you get that we have to repent of our sins if we follow Jesus?!
What don't you get that we have to repent to Jesus?
What don't you get that we have to believe we are forgiven?
What don't you get that Judas repented, and his betrayal included his theft.

Judas did not repent of sins when he followed Jesus, just like many who say they follow him now and do not repent first of their sins.

Right! Judas didn't repent of being a thief, and then he did not repent to Jesus, he went to the chief priest to repent, and still, he did not believe and obey Jesus. He did not believe that he could be forgiven and he kept disobeying and he killed himself.
Scripture says Judas repented. That is not in question.
The question to you was ---- what made his repentance too late?
