The Sad Heartbreaking Unnecessary Death Of The Wicked.

I'm not rejoicing over anything in this world. The NT tells me to give myself to Christ and His commandments. The Bible tells me there would wars upon wars, plauges, and more evil. I am to help those I can. I am to leave justice in the hands of the government. I took the Word into prisons...

The Sad Heartbreaking Unnecessary Death Of The Wicked.

Not easy! “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor i and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous...

    Earthly Nature

"Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry" (Col. 3:5). How does one put that earthly nature to death?

We do believe by Him !

But we have to "believe." James 2:23 "And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called a friend of God."

Did God put Israel's covenant on hold?

God allowed them to do so because they refused Christ.

Did God put Israel's covenant on hold?

Israel would not accept the Gentiles. "They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled" (Luke 21:24). "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and...

    Polygamy is in the Bible

After Adam acquired knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve covered their bodies when they realized they were naked. So why do the Adamites hold services in the nude? The Adamites, or Adamians, were adherents of an Early Christian group in North Africa in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th centuries...

    Polygamy is in the Bible

Well I'm not Adamite. Plus do not believe in stark naked gatherings. But, do believe in having only one wife. Paul also wrote that Chrisitians should marry believers.

Does the word all always mean everyone without exception ?

The scripture deals with those that were brought to Jesus. I believe you have a further point to make with the word "all." "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). everyone πᾶς...

    Polygamy is in the Bible

For online theology I like to use the https://biblehub.com/ which has the Berean Study Bible. For offline I am studying the Nelson Study Bible (NKJV). I have finished the NT and am now on 2 Chronicles. I use my old KJV Bible to look up references. Also studying "A theology of the New...

    Polygamy is in the Bible

It does not have the word "only." Qualifications for Overseers (Titus 1:5–9; 1 Peter 5:1–4) 1This is a trustworthy saying: If anyone aspires to be an overseer, he desires a noble task. 2An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife,a temperate, self-controlled...

    Polygamy is in the Bible

True. Later in the NT epistles the apostle Paul promoted that leaders of the church be married only to one wife. That seems to have brought in the concept of no polygamy in the church except for the Mormons.

    Polygamy is in the Bible

"He must not take many wives for himself, lest his heart go astray" (Deut 17:17). The law said kings should not have many wives. But it did not work out that way. Also when a king made peace with another kingdom quite often they would marry a daughter of the other kingdom as an agreement to...

    America The Protector.

I do not see America being run by God. I see a lot of America going against God. "You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God" (James 4:4).
