    Who’s it to?

Are you serious? RD can't respond to my posts? Good luck making that one stick.

These are NOT the same gospel

I get it. You don't have an answer.

These are NOT the same gospel

It's not a dilemma for me, but it might be so for the Jews. They will have to endure to the end to have their sins blotted out.

These are NOT the same gospel

I'm still waiting for just one instance of proof from you about Peter teaching the sufficiency of the cross.

These are NOT the same gospel

It did happen right away, but Paul was baptized for the same reason Jesus was...to fulfill all righteousness. Paul was a Jew, and first obeyed the Gospel of the Kingdom. In fact, he began preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom...preaching Christ as the Messiah and the Son of God. Acts...

Of course there are two paths to eternal life. Even more, I'd say.

These are NOT the same gospel

Just that tiny portion, but the rest negates it from being Pauline. The forgiveness of sins occurs immediately with Paul's gospel, but the rest will have to wait until the Lord returns.

These are NOT the same gospel

Seriously? And this? "And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me," As members of the body, we have teachers, preachers, evangelists....all members of the same body. The quote above doesn't sound like...

Tam, you're mashing everything together. Oil and water.

Then you should have no problem showing where the obedience of faith was spoken of by the prophets.

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

This is something God would require from His chosen people. As many times as the Jews failed, it makes perfect sense that more would be required of the Jews than would be required of the gentiles. Enduring to the end. Indeed. We see that requirement of the Jews throughout the gospels...

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

Maybe Paul was in such a state of shock that he wrote to the Jews right away....feeling the need to prove to the Jews that Jesus was indeed the Christ. Thus no salutation. I should just shut up until I read it with fresh eyes.

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

I have a thought about that P.S. Notice the "Jew first", and remember the love and loyalty Paul had for his fellow Jews. Early on after his Road to Damascus experience, Paul was just preaching Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God. It was only after the Lord sent Paul off to Asia that he...

It's a covenant. The covenants were with Israel.

These are NOT the same gospel

Amen. One has to realize that had the "obedience of faith" been revealed to the Jews before Paul preached it, they would have given up the law long ago. They had this. Psalm 143:2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. Some...

These are NOT the same gospel

I'm confusing nothing. Peter didn't expect to be saved until Jesus returned in His glory. Acts 3 Paul preaches a present salvation when we believe. Eph. 2

If you can't show where Peter preaches the sufficiency of the cross it must not be there for you put forth.

    Who’s it to?

They are distinct gospels. When Jesus returns and sits on David's throne, the people will be under the law, but it will not be bondage because they will love the law, and seek it's precepts in the very presence of the Lord. Psalm 119:44-46 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and...

These are NOT the same gospel

Peter's good news was not the same as Paul's. Peter's good news was for the Jews......that Jesus would sit on the throne of David when He returned in Glory. In fact, they all expected that to happen soon.
