It's the best short story of all time, by Rudyard Kipling. My 11 yr. old grandaugter shares it will all her friends. It's from the Jungle Book I think.
Angel, nothing happened to my daughter. I was using that as an example...a what if. I have not had the heartache you have, but I do know how hard it would be to forgive someone. Sorry if it sounded like a personal tragedy.
She's just trying to invent a litmus of what's reasonable. Her qualification was that she doesn't leave them locked. But then, until she and Res trolled every time I didn't, neither did I. She wants in and she's Res' proxy on the point. Hypocrisy owes here a debt of gratitude for really putting it on the map here. And thanks for the nod.
Oh, and Quixote's is open now that Res is out for a bit and Eeset is off the boards at present...it would be funny if there were a couple of not me comments by the time she returned and the joint had closed again...and by funny I mean appropriate given it seems to be her new crusade. :idunno:
Well, Delmar handled the over step and I can't say I'm either unsurprised or surprised, if that makes any sense. I have no real feel for where the lines are anymore where some are concerned, but I was pleased to find at least one limit in place. It's encouraging.
I never understood that either...and you were obviously well thought of by the power structure going in. It's a puzzle...I almost never report, but being called that given my record and history where children are concerned. I had to. If that's permissible then I don't know what to think.
Thanks for your concern. It was difficult, but it was a double edged sword as most things in life are. It was sad and at the same time rewarding that I had the experience to be there for her.
