[2Pe 3:9
[9] The Lord is not slack concerning [His] promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
[Act 17:29-31
] [29] "Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising.

[21] lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, fornication, and lewdness which they have practiced.
[1Jo 1:6-10
[6] If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
[7] But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
[8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
xxx One must repent to be forgiven. To repent one must regret what they done. If one has no regret over what they done they have an evil conscience, and no fear of God in their hearts. God is seeking those that fear Him. People dont fear Him because they dont believe Him. So the begining of forgiveness is the fear of God. If you fear God you will believe Him. If you believe Him, you will repent. If you repent you will be forgiven.
