Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Have we ever really considered what this verse is really saying and means ? When God delivered up His Son for all whom He was delivered up for, namely Gods Elect Vs 33, He gave gives other things [as it pertains to their Salvation] with Him.

The prep with the greek word syn means:

accompany , a primary preposition denoting union; with or together

In other words in giving Christ to be delivered up for the elect other benefits accompanied that.giving, and are also given in union with Him. Since Christ is Our Salvation Isa 49:6

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Lk 1:69

And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

Lk 2:30

For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

That said the writer of Hebrews mentions things that accompany Salvation Heb 6:9

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

Things that come with and belong with Salvation !

[h=2]With Him freely give all things ![/h]What are some things that accompany the giving of Christ ?

One of things that accompany the giving of Christ is the giving of the Spirit. God gives the Spirit to everyone Christ was delivered up for. Thats why when He ascended to on High that Father gave to Him the Spirit , He secured it for the benefit of those He died for and redeemed. Acts 2:33

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Gal 3:13-14

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The Promise of the Spirit here is the same promise of the Holy Ghost in Acts 2:33

God gives Him to all for whom Christ died and redeemed

2 Cor 1:22

Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

1 Thess 4:8

He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit

Rom 5:5

5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

And included in Christ Giving us [Elect] of His Spirit, is the Fruit and Gift of Faith Gal. 5:22; Gal. 3:14.

Other things freely given along with Christ as it pertains to Salvation are Faith and Repentance. Both of these Spiritual Blessings accompany Christ and are token manifestations of His Saviourship. In Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Christ couldnt be a Prince and a Saviour if He doesnt give repentance to Israel, His elect people from all nations including from among the Gentiles Acts 11:18

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

The Gentile Elect/Sheep that Christ died for and He became their Salvation/Saviour, they're given repentance unto life.

Faith is given as a token of Christ being ones Saviour 2 Pet 1:1

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

Phil 1:29

29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Christ isn't a Saviour without giving Faith and Repentance !

True, for Faith and Repentance given through the New Birth to God's Elect is a testification of Christ's Resurrection on behalf of all them He died and was raised from the dead on behalf of as their Saviour !

1 Pet. 1:3-5

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Another one of those things freely given with Christ is the forgiveness of sins. Many scriptures testify to this. Remember Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Folks its a certain given if Christ shed His Blood for you, you have the remission of sins !

Heb 9:22

22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (and with shedding of blood is remission Matt 26:28)

And in fact the word give in Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Its the greek word charizomai which means:

  1. to grant forgiveness, to pardon
  2. to give graciously, give freely, bestow
    1. to forgive

God freely gives grants forgiveness to those He gave His Son for, it comes with the giving of Christ. Its no such thing as a sinner Christ died for to be not forgiven !

Amen, and rightly so, because forgiveness of sins is Justification from them. And God's Elect or Sheep, were Chosen in union with Christ, His Son, before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before Him in love; to have forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His Grace Eph. 1:4-7. So they were already abjured Righteous even then because their sins were laid upon Christ their Surety Heb. 7:22; Is. 53:6; Rom. 5:9-10, and they were risen with Him, the Great Shepherd of the Sheep.

Heb. 13:20-21

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Yes, when the elect are born into this world as sinners as everyone else, being dead in sin, enemies of God in their minds by their wicked works, they are nevertheless still born washed in the blood of Christ and clothed with His righteousness imputed !

Rom. 4:25

Yes everyone He was delivered up for, His resurrection declares them Justified !

Another thing that God gives freely with Christ, that which accompanies Him, that is Eternal Life. Paul wrote Rom 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Through Jesus Christ here refers to His Person and Work ! Jesus spoke of giving His Life for the Sheep Jn 10:11,15

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

28 And I give unto them[His Sheep] eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Giving His Life is equivalent to giving eternal life, Jn 6:33

33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

The word giveth here is the greek word
didōmi and it means:

  1. to give something to someone
    1. of one's own accord to give one something, to his advantage
      1. to bestow a gift

Theres no such thing in scripture that one for whom Christ died not having eternal life.

That would contradict His very purpose for coming and dying for them Jn 10:10

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly

Christ Gives Eternal Life Mat. 25:34 to the World of His Sheep John 6:33, all of which He died for without exception.

However, many are not His Sheep John 10:26; and so have not been given eternal life, but remain in their sins permanently Mat. 25:41.

For them [goats] the wages of sin is death Rom. 6:23a !

Amen Brother !

All those Christ died for as their Surety Saviour Heb. 7:22; Rev. 13:8 through the Blood of the Everlasting Covenant, were Justified freely Rom. 3:24 by His Grace given them before the World began.

2 Tim. 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began

Rom. 5:9-10
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood [Death], we shall be saved from wrath through him.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Those Christ died for, God gave Him to die for them Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Notice here, God with the giving of Christ, will with Him, which means to accompany the giving of Christ for them, will freely give them all things. Now one of the all things freely given with Christ, is to believe on His Name.

The words freely give is the greek word charizomai and means:

  1. to grant forgiveness, to pardon
  2. to give graciously, give freely, bestow

Its the very same word Paul uses when writing to the Philippians here Phil 1:29

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

So what we have here is a direct scripture testimony that "to believe on Christs name" is freely given, bestowed upon those Christ was given to by the Father, when the Father gave up Christ for them, with the giving of Him, to believe on His name for Salvation accompanied that.

There is no such thing therefore of Christ having died for someone, and that someone not ever becoming a believer on His Name.

5 pointers believe God does all things only for Himself and for love of Himself. He created sin and made humans sinful so He could burn them in hell for personal reasons related to His own pleasure. That is not the truth but that is what some people believe nonetheless.
