ECT Who is Jesus?

Who is He? Give scripture references.

God in the flesh.

Heb 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same"

This verse indicates that He existed before He partook of flesh and blood.

Phil 2:6-7 "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men"

This verse indicates that Jesus is God who was made in the likeness of men.

The two verses prove that Jesus is God and was made in the likeness of men by taking on flesh and blood.

Phil 2:6-7 "Who, being in the form of God...

Paul wrote the statement about Jesus being in the form of God, but yet he did not consider Jesus to be God. On the contrary he said, "But to us there is but one God, the Father..."

Paul was also familiar with Psalm 82:6 and Genesis 1:27.

This does not answer the question who you believe Jesus is.

Nonsense.

Jesus WAS. However, those who do not know Jesus, will always say He is not God.

Jesus is the flesh son of the most high God He was created to house the spiritual son of the most high God Christ. Christ was sent to enlighten us about his father and die for our sins

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."

Is come. End of debate.

Anyone who claims that Jesus is not God, does not know Jesus. More importantly, He does not know them.

Jesus is God emtyed of himself. Who denays that, denay the Word of God and does not know Christ.

John 1:1 refers to Christ, not to Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus is Christ incarnaated after experiencing the emtying explained by Paul as Kenosis.

Luke 2:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

This does not answer the question who you believe Jesus is.

I've answered this so many times but one more won't hurt. I agree with Paul who said, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.

I disagree friend, they say that Christ is a form of God.

Hebrews 1:3 will show you who Christ is, he is a spirit like his creator. These are my thoughts.

Jesus is the body mentioned in Heb 10:5. The spirit Christ needed a pure sinless body to dwell in. But Christ is NOT God for he has a God.

Luke 2:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Jesus was born that daay in the city of David.
Christ is eternal, did not born, and did exist before that day.
That day, Christ emtyed out of being equal to God and became fesh.
