Khizr Muazzam Khan graduated in Punjab University Law College, as the New York Times confirms. and he specialized in International Trade Law in Saudi Arabia. An interest lawyer for Islamic oil companies Khan wrote a paper, called In Defense of OPEC to defend the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), an intergovernmental oil company consisting of mainly Islamic countries. Kahn is a promoter of Islamic Sharia Law. Khan is also co-founder of the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Muslim Law (Islamic Sharia).

Khan’s fascination with Islamic Sharia stems from his life in Saudi Arabia. During the eighties Kahn wrote a paper titled Juristic Classification of Islamic [Sharia] Law. In it he elucidated on the system of Sharia law expressing his reverence for “The Sunnah [the works of Muhammad] — authentic tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).” A snapshot of his essay can be seen here:

Perhaps "CatholicCrusader," like Donald Trump, should check the validity of his OWN sources before attacking the credibility of OTHERS!

If Walid Shoebat was a member of the PLO and firebombed an Israeli bank, as he now claims, shouldn't Trump supporters like "CatholicCrusader" be demanding that he be stripped of his American citizenship and deported - not citing him as a source to defame a "silver-star" family that lost their son in defense if the nation?

Obviously Mr. Shoebat lied when he entered the country and on his citizenship application - America doesn't make a habit of accepting self-confessed members of terrorist groups into the country.

So conservative Christians think that a different set of rules should apply to those who claim to have been a member of the PLO, firebombed an Israeli bank, lied on their US citizenship application and now claim that they has been converted!

Why should Nr. Shoebat receive his US citizenship while 1000's of undocumented Hispanics who also claim to be Christians, and were not associated with any terrorist organizations, face deportation?

The Kahns would have been nothing more that a footnote from the 2016 Democratic Convention if "the Donald" had exercised a little restraint by keeping his mouth shut - as his campaign staff undoubtedly advised him!

Instead of remaining on message, it was "the Donald" that decided that he who was going to have "the last word" on this matter - and in the process created a media "firestorm" of his own making!

Trump will require approximately 68 million votes to win - after alienating Hispanics, Blacks, Moslems, women, veterans, the military, the RNC, Republican politicians, etc, what makes him think that he has the luxury of "burning bridges" and "making enemies?"

Khizr Khan who waved a US Constitution at Donald Trump at the DNC Convention was interviewed by Dunya Pakistani News this week.

Khan believes Sharia trumps the Constitution – so the entire premise of his DNC speech was a big lie. Khan told Dunya News Allah is working in this election.

The father of martyred United States (US) soldier Captain Humayun Khan, Khizr Khan, has on Thursday said that the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is unacceptable to the US. He said that Allah makes people like Trump to make mistakes to discredit them in public eyes forever, reported Dunya News.

Talking exclusively to Dunya News on program Nuqta-e-Nazar, Khizr Khan said that he often gets emotional while speaking in public but when nature wants you to do something, words come by themselves. He said his speech was a gift from the God. “I showed the constitution only because I wanted to remind people that nobody could be discriminated against in the name of religion”, said Khizr.​
