What does it mean when someone says that someone can get it?

Are you asking for context or are you telling me you need context or are you telling me that is the answer, context?
I have no idea what the context is, that is why am asking about the words and what they mean. I don't even know what there is to get or how anyone would believe, think, or know they they get it or they got it or even what it would mean, prove, or what bearing it would have on anyone's life if they got something or they get it. What is there to get? What does it even mean to ask what there is to get? It is not if there is nothing to get, it is what it even means to get anything or even if it is possible to get anything. All I can think of here is the phrase, I get it. This probably means I understand or that I do understand.
