Here's a good article on what democrats think of the average US citizen. State and local governments gave their legal citizens the figurative finger by hiding violent criminals from ICE. In other words, democrats find criminals of more value than law abiding citizens. How is that? They subject law abiding US citizens to violent crime each and every time they shelter violent criminals. And these criminals shouldn't even be here in the first place.

It's plain to see what these marxist politicians think of the we the people. They have no respect for us at all. As far as they are concerned we are nothing but fodder for criminals. Those of you who voted for democrats are getting what you deserve when you're the victim of one of these violent criminal thugs.

Currently, the Department of Justice is pressuring cities to cooperate with deportation efforts and is trying to cut federal police grants to cities who release criminals back into Americans’ neighborhoods.

it seems much more likely that the individuals breitbart is railing about were released when the court found insufficient evidence to hold them. Those horrible democrats....upholding the constitution again. shame on them.

The current administration took a program used by the previous administration to target dangerous criminals and twisted it to target otherwise-law abiding illegal aliens.

So it's no surprise that local authorities aren't cooperating in that effort; it does them no good at all, and won't do their communities any good until ICE starts targeting criminals again.

It's not hard to figure this out; it's tougher rounding up hardened criminals and gang members. Probably more risky, too. So targeting the peaceful guy who is here to work and contribute to society is a more attractive target than protecting communities by going after dangerous criminals.

If ICE wants assistance, they only need to go back to the Obama policy of targeting criminals. Cities would then be willing to help.

Actually, not. Being here illegally isn't a crime. Entering illegally is, but entering legally and then failing to leave as required isn't a crime at all.

More importantly, the Obama policy of focusing on dangerous criminals has been abandoned in favor of rounding up otherwise law-abiding illegals. Yes, it's easier, and runs up numbers for political points, but it makes cities less safe. It's no wonder that cities are less inclined to help ICE; such policies don't help at all.

By definition, illegal immigrants entered into the USA through illegal activities.

Some have. DACA people never did, and aren't criminals in any way. Neither are those who entered legally and just didn't go home.

ICE should continue targeting criminals that have committed the illegal activities of immigrating to the USA in violation of federal laws that govern immigration.

ICE should focus on removing the dangerous criminals first. It's incredible that any rational person would disagree.

Edit: Given that republicans care more about making points than protecting American citizens, maybe I'm wrong about that.
