Why did they do that? Because the idiots that run SanFran and California are no longer prosecuting theft under somewhere like $1000. That means a person can walk into a store and steal enough goods to make them stagger on their way out, and have no fear of the cops being called, or be prosecuted for the theft. So, these policies by marxists are hurting the everyday man because the rate of theft is so high even a large chain like Walgreens can't stay profitable and have to close the affected stores.
