ECT Unbelievers whine but believers believe

"If God is love and is so good and is so powerful, why do all these bad things happen?

"Why are people in this world starving?" etc. etc. etc.

How about Matthew 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Check the context, people who have lack of food or clothing or shelter, need to do what?

"seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness"

What is the promise of God if, if, if, they do that?

"all these things shall be added unto you"

Problem solved.

Any other verses?

Love that title.

Rom. 5: 6-8. :thumb:

Thanks.

Yes, God loves us, but it is believers who actively, willfully receive that love.

Mark 9:23

Abraham had all his need met. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

The title is catchy, but not all unbelievers whine all the time and not all believers believe all the time.

Hi and you sloved the problem for Israel and not the Body of Christ , as we have the righteousness of Christ as we do not have to seek it as we can seek it as He gives us His righteousness !!

Yes, we do have the righteousness of God even now.

(it is the righteousness of God, not ego based self righteousness)

So, having found it and having it, should we let it stagnate, or do we need to seek to put it to God's uses?

Having it and using it are two related, but different issues.

All Christians are in the kingdom of God from a spiritual point of view, but do their lives show that by what they do and say? By their lifestyle?

We are after all, from a spiritual point of view, seated in the heavens with Jesus Christ at the right hand of God. Ephesians

I am still working on both areas

We have been saved spiritually but we need to let the rules of God's kingdom be our lifestyle and we need to live God's righteousness in us.
