Actually, Dave, there's lots of things that make me sick. And angry, and disgusted. Homos. Child abusers. Child molesters. Thieves. Men who beat their wives. Murderers. Pimps and whores. The list goes on and on.
Can all of these people be saved? Sure.
Does God want them to continue to do this stuff? Does God want two guys "loving" each other up? Is that what He considers correct? Does God want His people to condone homosexuality?
Does God want us to be tolerant and loving toward every sin? Should we be tolerant of people who starve their kids because God loves them? Should we figure that we shouldn't care about pedophiles who molest kids because God loves them too? Or thieves? Or murderers?
Some churches even have cute little ceremonies to "recognize" the sinful relationships between homos, sort of a vile parody of marriage between a man and a woman. What does God think of that?
Maybe we should recognize all of the sins the same. We could have a day to honor pedophiles, and we could recognize the special relationship of Bill the beastialist to his significant other, Fido. Child abusers Sunday. Pimp day! Murderer's day!
Does God expect heterosexual fornicators to turn away from their sins when they join His church? Does he expect thieves to stop stealing, murderers to quit killing, and child molesters to stop molestion? Sure He does.
Why should homosexuality be any different?
