TOL signatures out of control!

Our signatures on TOL have become out of control!

They have become a major distraction.

I don't want to turn them off so please.....

- Keep the font size unadjusted (it's set to display small for a reason).
- Do not animate your signature (using the marquee code)
- Keep images to no taller than 75 pixels and no wider than 550 pixels.

Remember your signature shows up over and over again so there is no need to make it larger than it needs to be. The focus should be on your posts and not on your signature.

Yep. I had to turn signature display off a while back because I got tired of scrolling through the same long sigs over and over.

Don't get me wrong.... I love the creative signatures we have here on TOL.

It's just that they have become out of control and distracting. Lets all practice safe signaturing.

I recently adjusted my signature....it was just too long. I agree that signatures can get out of control.

I eliminated the marquee in my signature out of respect for Knight.
