Oh, I haven't checked the link yet, but I know that police dogs are considered human officers for crimes of assualt or death. The dog is an officer. I think I'm right about that.

Yep, in most states(?) a police dog is considered an,"officer". On the other hand a "dog" that comes flying out his dog door to answer it is not considered a member of a family and it is permitted that the person knocking at the door has the right to protect themselves by shooting the dog in the head. lol,it's not fair dogs should have equal rights!,,lol

That's exactly why I posted it. The knee-jerk cop haters who always assume the cop is wrong...well, this dog is a cop. So do they hate this cop, too? Was this canine cop abusive and wrong for biting the perp who tried stabbing the human cop? Did this cop deserve getting shanked? This cop was just doing his job and was defending his partner and himself.
