SMOKING GUN? Obama Defense Deputy Slips Up On Live TV - Reveals Spying On Trump Team And Leaking Of Intel

Former Obama Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Evelyn Farkas, made some stunning admissions during an interview with MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski.

While discussing the mad scramble by the Obama administration to collect and preserve intelligence on alleged Russian election hacking before Obama left office, it appears that Farkas accidentally implicated the Obama White House in the surveillance of Trump's campaign staff:

The Trump folks, if they found out how we knew what we knew about the Trump staff dealing with Russians, that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we would not longer have access to that intelligence.

Furthermore, Farkas effectively corroborated a New York Times article from early March which cited "Former American officials" as their anonymous source regarding efforts to leak this surveillance on the Trump team to Democrats across Washington DC.

I became very worried because not enough was coming out into the open and I knew that there was more. We have very good intelligence on Russia. So then I had talked to some of my former colleagues and I knew they were trying to also get information to the hill.

That's why you have the leaking.

In other words; the Obama administration was concerned about spoliation of evidence gathered through various "sources and methods" of surveillance, so a plan was hatched to leak this information to congress - also known as "The Hill."

There is some dastardly business going on in the swamp, and it's a bigger swamp than we suspected.

Yeah....imagine a guy hiring his daughter and his son-in-law for government jobs. It's as if there aren't any anti-nepotism laws at all. It's like Saddam Hussein's Iraq.

Aahhh.....! You mean.... In your words...!
Got it.

Those were not my words but instead the one who wrote the article. Those who try to defend these crimes committed within the Obama administration are an enemy of the civil rights enjoyed by every American citizen and are the same people who defended these other crimes:

In 2013 the liberal Washington Post expressed outrage after the revelation that the Justice Department had investigated the newsgathering activities of a Fox News reporter as a potential crime in a probe of classified leaks. The reporter, Fox News’ James Rosen and his family, were part of an investigation into government officials anonymously leaking information to journalists. Rosen was not charged but his movements and actions were tracked.

Also in 2013, members of the Associated Press were also a target of the surveillance. The ultra liberal New Yorker even noted that “In moderate and liberal circles, at least, the phone-records scandal, partly because it involves the dear old A.P. and partly because it raises anew the specter of Big Brother, may well present the most serious threat to Obama’s reputation.”

Reporter Sharyl Attkisson said in 2014 that her personal computer and CBS laptop were hacked after she began filing stories about Benghazi that were unflattering to the Obama administration. A source who checked her laptop said the hacker used spyware “proprietary to a government agency,” according to an article in the New York Post.

Just wait until you are the victim of such scurrilous actions and then we will see if you still willing to defend these abusive tactics employed by politicians.

Why don't you just stop irritating yourself over Former President Obama, who has been one of the best and most humanitarian Presidents ever!

President Trump is going to have to carry out some extraordinary and wonderful policies to leave Former President Obama in the shadows.

Look, if you want to moan about dishonesty in politics, focus on something big, like how we all believed that WMD existed in Iraq, and supported that dreadful conflict, leaving the Middle East in tatters.

Your moans are incorrect, agenda driven, and weak.... very very weak.

Obama's legacy is defined by the fact that the Republicans now control all three branches of the federal government and the majority of the state governments.

What accomplishments of Obama can you point to which will have a lasting and beneficial effect on the USA?

There is absolutely no evidence that Bush knew that there were no WMD's in Iraq. But there is plenty of evidence that the civil rights of Americans were violated by the very people who swore to defend those rights!

You may want those who employ Gestapo tactics to run the country but I do not.

Rubbish!
If Presidents could serve a third term in office, guess who would be President.... again!

...Obama? Obama??!!!! I think you mean Former President Obama, don't you?
His legacy will certainly be the continued development of a National Health System, amongst other benefits.

There are millions of folks who just plain don't believe you about that.

But there is plenty of evidence that the civil rights of Americans were violated by the very people who swore to defend those rights!
If you can't explain yourself clearly, your points are just so much hot air.

You may want those who employ Gestapo tactics to run the country but I do not.
What do you know about Gestapo tactics?
That's just cheap rhetoric, clear as day.

If the Republicans don't rescue Obamacare then it will fold like a cheap suit.

Who's "they"?

Also, can you just admit that it's a bit unseemly, if it isn't illegal? Are we really sure that the people most qualified to give the president advise just happen to be directly related to him?

Despite having control of the White House and both Houses of Congress, conservatives are desperately searching for issues to divert attention away from their abysmal performance in the last 10 weeks.

The healthcare fiasco showed that a President with a 34% approval rating will need the Democrats if he expects to have legislation passed in the House.

Otherwise, an emboldened Freedom Caucus will continue to hold the Republicans hostage, demanding concessions that will alienate the moderate wing of the party!

Whatever Obamacare's deficiencies, the conservatives in their infinite wisdom proceeded to introduce a replacement bill with for which they could only achieve 17% public approval.

Given that Republicans spent the past 6 years planning Obamacare's demise, one would have anticipated that the replacement legislation that would have had far greater appeal and a time commitment of more than a mere 18 days - that is if they were genuinely concerned about the health of the nation.
