SIMPLICITY
2 Cor 11:3
3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Matt 5:37
37 "But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Heb 4:12-13
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Rev 22:18-19
18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
II Jn 1:9-11
9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;
11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
II Jn 1:8
8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
1 Cor 11:31
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.
Matt 7:1-5
1 "Judge not, that you be not judged.
2 "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
3 "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
4 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye?
5 "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.
Rom 16:17-18
17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.
Matt 11:27-30
27 "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

xxx There is something very simple about the Word of God. If Jesus said it you need it for salvation. If it is in the new testament you need it for salvation. Jesus is the new testament with us. If it isnt in the new testament you dont need it for salvation. Dont add nothing to the verses and dont take nothing away from the verses. The only guaranteed message from God comes through the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit only quotes verses. The guarantee of salvation is written down in the new testament.
Think about this. All one has to do for salvation is believe what is written in the new testament. You should ask yourself this. Why cant I just believe what is written??? Well its because of all these doubts that come up when I read the new testament. Or because I have all this human wisdom in me. Or its because it doesnt feel right, my emotions come up. All these are from the devil. Anything in you contrary to what is written in the new testament is from your own devils.
When I was a child and someone offered me a piece of candy, I was thrilled. As I got older they would offer me choices of candy. When I started having to make a choice it got harder, which one? All these doubts would come up. Which one should I pick? And no matter which one I picked I always wondered if I made the right choice. I was blessed when I decided to get into the bible. I only knew about the KJV. So I got into it. Found the Holy Spirit and He moved me to the NKJV. Now I learn of all these different bibles and all these interpretations, its mind boggleing. I feel sorry for all those who study a lot of different versions, I dont see how they can ever come to the truth.
[2Co 11:3-5
3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or [if] you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!
5 For I consider that I am not at all inferior to the most eminent apostles.
